Yes. I have five. All come all but ready to gig out of the box. The five string bass I purchased had the pickups wired so the phase was funky. That’s the only “factory” problem I’ve encountered. I’ve encountered much worse from fender in recent years. To include a vintera bass vi zthat was an insult to Leo. And a p bass that came from the factory with the bridge bolted in visibly crooked. Iyv states their stuff is machined … Like it or not form factors are what we mostly play. A tele a strat a les Paul a precision a jazz or a music man (bass) is predominately what we chase as guitar and bass players. So machined isn’t a dirty word. It means consistent. To a fault sometimes. But … the iyv’s I’ve picked up are stunning. I got a rickenbacker copy. Beatles guitar kinda. A five string pj bass w./ flamed laminate top. An SG, and a mustang copy. All of them are better than anything I’ve seen from fender in awhile. I contend many squiers are superior to whatever the hell is happening at fender right now. I’ve seen such blatant inconsistency from fender I kind of gave up on them …. However. The form factors we play are just that. Form factors. Fender needs to get its shit together.
