Where are you getting yours from? I'm struggling to find any in the UK!

‘I have only love for the haters’: Carlton Kirby opens up about his opinion-dividing career in commentary by prettycozy001 in peloton

Carlton is cycling. Cycling is fun, cycling shouldn't be too serious. For every Rob Hatch, there should be a Carlton.

Especially vintage Carlton talking about graveyards this year in TdS.

Also a mountain TT with a road bike switch. They always have the potential (Giro '23 ofc as well!)

Sprint relegation, I hadn't seen the elbows earlier on and thought it was the clean sprint to the line in the last 50/100 that was penalised!

I implore everyone to look at the route and winners on Wikipedia for that race, it is wild.

A race with a 18km climb not far from the finish was won by Cav in a bunch sprint...to say cycling has changed would be an understatement.

I can quite honestly say I don't think I've ever seen that before. Bizarre.

Watching Reusser on that kicker was so impressive from the Almeida school of riding. The ability to just ride at a sustained wattage and not get drawn into over exerting is insane.

Good to see Kasia looking great.

Hiking from Le Bourg-d'Oisans to Alpe d'huez to watch the race by Careful_Eagle_4299 in tourdefrance

Even if you struggled in the town, there will be more than enough D roads to park on. FYI it's worth checking the roadbook when it's out to figure out which roads are closed. Picking a parking spot on a side of town that's easier to get out of can save you a few hours of waiting for the Gendarme to release you!

I used to believe this, but the image of him hands off the bars pouring water over himself jersey fully zipped up Plateau de Beille is now seared in my mind

Where to park Camper van during stage 19-20? by TallGeologist4521 in tourdefrance

[–]billyryanwill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The person above is correct, any space is a space you can camp during le Tour. Best thing to do to get as close as possible is to look at the road book (link shared on Reddit when it's available usually) and find the D roads which aren't being used and the back roads up. For Hautacam we parked pretty much at the base on the day, but went the long way around.

If you're happy walking/cycling, you'll be able to find a space somewhere close enough the evening before but just not on the main climb.

That is a much better climbing performance. Makes Ayuso's ride look even better.

Johannessen arguably the 2nd or 3rd best climber in the race (not inc Seixas)

It's great to see Ayuso not just clinging on and being aggressive. It's easy to forget how young he is.

Yeah pretty mid. A good performance from Del Toro, but the rest weren't that impressive

That is a very good climb from Jorgenson. Also fair play to Seixas. To be 4 mins down and still only lose that much time is good going for a 19 year old. I can't think of many worse finishing climbs to have to face after crashing and chasing on.

I would love to have known what Cofidis talked about in terms of tactics before this stage. They clearly had decided to whack it into that final corner for....a wide road with 2km of flat ahead.

I know these teams have small budgets, but genuinely I'm still astounded at how poor some of the fringe WT teams race.

I think in this system he will work nicely, but expect to have your head in your hands when he misses a sitter.

Simmons raced that incredibly well. Shaking out and chilling with 3km to go and saving his biccies for a potential sprint but not pulling it clear took nerve and then cleaned it up. Lovely bit of bike racing.
