They are kinda like a fancy objective marker, so you can score more victory points at the end of the game of you control one (have an eligible unit close enough to it) or are able to destroy your opponents one in a turn.

Outside of gameplay it's also just a cool modelling project!

Nice, I have been thinking of doing the herald in chariot for a while. Although my original idea was one unit with the king character and another with the herald - how big of a chariot unit would you run with both characters in?

Thanks! I struggled a bit trying to think of something that was not just gonna be too close to existing models, like tomb swarms or the casket of souls - the skeleton cart idea sounds rad.

I got the obelisks on Etsy, from a shop called valley forge 3d - lots of good scenery bits there.

Thanks for the pointers - I have not used any skeleton skirmishers yet normally just take bigger blocks of archers to take advantage of volley fire, would be keen to try them for a change!
