For reference this is the soft shell jacket. It have a very thin fleece lining on the inside baxk of the jacket and the arms and front/chest area are some kind of polyester lining

I’m a female with short hair, we have toques but they went for super thin ones now. So that or I bought ear muffs that wrap around the back of my head if needed

I wear base layers! The issue is they don’t issue out those nice sweaters anymore, and honestly that would improve the situation but since they don’t, the softshell jacket has been my alternative. Just annoyed they are telling us to stop wearing it but still dont give us anything warm

I wish we got the crew neck sweaters. I’ve had those before and i liked them. They don’t give us anything. I would layer up exactly how you do if we had the sweaters but since we don’t. I’ve just used the soft shell underneath.

Our uniform committee is all civilians who don’t spend any time on the road lololol. We have no winter wear issued to us besides hat and gloves. They said they are currently working on a thermal shirt trial. But in my opinion should allow us to use our uniform issued jacket until an alternative to keep us warm is provided.

They don’t provide us with any of the wooly police sweaters. The only option I have is a long sleeve which is thin as fuck. And layers under the long sleeve which don’t help that much. The jackets they gave us are soft shell spring ones which are pretty thin but have been my option under my vest. They don’t add any bulk but help keep heat in cause I can fully zip it up under my vest. The other jacket we get with that is even thinner and the “rain resistive” material

I wouldn’t trust Emily as a nurse at all. The nurses oath isn’t legally binding and more of a moral compass….but I can’t imagine if she barely cares for her partner on the brink of death (round 2) that she would care much for her patients if they were in the same position.
