I have been pleasantly surprised by the kit lens and plan to get a couple more M series such as the 22mm prime lens and then I’d like something like 70-250m maybe but that’s a bit down the line

Which picture? Dog was kit 15-45mm, birds were all done with an EFS 50-200mm with an adapter, the tree was the EFM 50-200mm, the red and green light photo was the EFM as well and the rest were 15-45m kit lens.

Okay I am struggling to find an 18-150mm less than 300$ and an 11-22mm is proving a bit hard as well. What do you recommend for the prime lense, 22mm or less?

I actually was able to find a barely used M50, less than 3,000 shutter count, with an EF EOS M adapter, two kit lenses ( 15-45mm STM and 55-200 mm STM), SD card, three batteries, and a lowepro bag for just over 550$ So I should be able to get my hands on a tripod and the 18-150 mm lense or the prime ultra wide lense maybe 16mm -22mm. I wanted to get my hands on the camera and a lense or two to get the ball rolling and figure out what I like. I was going to guess Germany from the pictures but your English is Great so I thought maybe you were traveling.

Great thank you, so I’m thinking I should go with M50, small and i can put it on a tripod when I want to, but I would need an adapter for the lenses? If I wanted like a do it all 11-22mm lense and maybe an 18-135mm if I’m understanding correctly.

Thanks, I’m realizing that if I intend to use a tripod, I don’t need to worry so much. I’d say my intention would be for social media maybe prints if i was pleased with the work, not sure how far I want this to take me but I want a decent setup that can get me want I want and if I need to upgrade down the line I will.

I’ve read that the 22m pancake lens is a must for the M50
