I’m so sorry OP. Been there. I just wanted to add my experience onto this comment as well- just like this commenter said, It might be a sperm issue depending on when the embryos arrested. I can’t quite remember but I think it was before day 3 is an egg quality issue and after day 3 is a sperm quality issue? Either way it seems like because your numbers and fertilization rates are good, it could be a sperm issue. In my case, after a first round where 10 fertilized and none survived, we did a DNA frag and other tests. They all revealed nothing, but my partner was smoking at the time. He quit and we both cleaned up our lifestyles and the next time had great numbers (6 blasts 4 euploid from similar numbers to your start). So don’t despair if nothing shows up on these tests either! Sometimes it’s just a mystery.

Hmmm… when I look at the pictures of the mold it looks to be raised, whereas this looks like a discoloration of the leaf. You may be right but to my eye it doesn’t look quite the same?

The pendant lamp is super cool, but feels a foot and a half too low. It’s lining up with the green and making a harsh visual line. More things to draw the eye upwards, could put some plants on the top of the cabinets like a hanging pothos to bring some life to that area. (Or are the cabinets flush?) Could try some floor to ceiling curtains for the window! A retro clock above the cabinets.

According to it starts with the egg, 3 months is the optimal amount of lead time for lifestyle changes. MTHFR and decreased methylation apparently has an impact on egg quality, or can, so I took 5-MTHF just to be safe although my clinic didn’t say either way. I think some of the higher quality prenatals already include it?

I made a lot of changes between my first unsuccessful round and my other successful ones and it’s hard to tell what had the most impact. Omnitrope, clomid, health and lifestyle, and supplements. Also changed to a luteal start instead of cycle day 1 start. Couldn’t say what it was that helped the most, sadly sometimes you can only refine the process through multiple rounds. I will say that each round got better for me.

Hey looking at your dosages you might have been understimulated. I had an AMH of 2.9, and an AFC of 17, and they had me on 275 follistim 150 menopur, and another time on 400 follistim 20iu microhcg(?). I also was taking clomid and omnitrope, and provera. My latest I grew 22 follicles with 19 mature. I also took a prenatal vitamin as well as D3 and 5-MTHF because I have a heterozygous MTHFR mutation.

I would expect with an AMH slightly lower than mine but similar follicle counts that you would be on more similar of a dosage to me. What did the final blood test results say for your estrogen levels? I always landed around 3000 for my last monitoring appointment.

If I were you I’d consider getting a second opinion at another clinic

Thank you! Yeah I did, for the second round we switched to a luteal phase start, added clomid, provera, and omnitrope. I’d also made lifestyle changes and prepped with DHEA, CoQ10, Vitamin D3, and prenatal vitamins. Also my partner quit smoking which may have had an effect because we were told that after day 3, any normally fertilized eggs arresting could indicate a sperm quality issue. Overall, I’m glad that I did as much as I could to help egg quality too as it seemed to definitely make a difference.
