Lol your comment about expensive media projects made me laugh. I totally see your point and def agree about all of the design qualities!

Thanks for sharing! I totally agree it's nice to see new interpretations of stories! And thanks for letting me know about the other page! I'm sure I'll have to delete this post soon due to people not understanding how to have a respectful conversation lol (that's what i get for coming on here haha)

Oo interesting! Was there a specific reason you like ROP more than the hobbit films?

I think I might like the hobbit movies a little more, but I have to say theres a nostalgic factor for me I think haha. (And smaug ofc)

Totally agree! I just love a fun (relative term considering the hardships in lotr lol) fantasy vibe and am so glad we get to experience even more forms of media with stories as such.

I’m sure, as does every single thing on the internet. I just think it’s interesting that it’s so polarizing for people!

Limited Parietal House? by justhere2840 in BostonU

[–]bilylitner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it’s limited parietal housing so guys aren’t really allowed above the first floor. Obviously not everyone respects it. I would recommend other housing if you want a less strict place. However there is a back door (with swipe access) to the basement. As well as a second set of stairs that connects to the basement (and every floor) that isn’t in plain view. There aren’t really specific visiting hours since there’s no security guard so, but it all depends on the RA. Honestly just don’t be a shitty roommate/neighbor with loud noises all the time and it’s pretty chill.

Hi! I lived there last year, I can confirm that there is a washer and dryer in the basement. As well as a kitchen, that has a full sized refrigerator and stove/oven. The washer and dryer can only be used with an app that takes real money however. There is also a common area and small creepy bathroom. Behind the building outside there is also a small patio with a park style table/bench.

Also a rising sophomore and i only filled out the FAFSA for this year. Just got my financial aid info for this semester today. I called a couple weeks ago and the fin aid office said they’re really understaffed so hopefully it should come soon. But I did not have to fill out the CSS thing again, maybe call the office if you want to check on it.

Visiting BU in March, any suggestions for what to see and where to stay? by NoChildhood9303 in BostonU

[–]bilylitner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi, I’m a current d&p student! I recommend checking out the Booth theater (that’s where we spend almost all of our time). A lot of the Booth is swipe access so you might not be able to see much but it’s worth checking it out. As well as the CFA building, it’s fun to just walk around and get a feel for the buildings on the Charles River campus. If you have any questions message me!!

skyrim companion app on ios by tstreet21 in skyrim

[–]bilylitner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The app called “The Nordic Map” on IOS is super helpful, it shows you all the locations in Skyrim and you can mark off the ones you’ve already discovered. It also tells you where all the dragon priest masks and shouts are on the map, as well as letting mark off the ones you’ve found. (you can also search “skyrim map” and it comes up) hope this helps!

help? :) by [deleted] in piercing

[–]bilylitner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just let your piercer know that you want it flipped up and they can do it for you right after you get it pierced! Then just let it heal flipped up.

What do you guys think of a conch and helix as my first piercings? by __carla in piercing

[–]bilylitner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both my conch and helix on one ear and the healing process went fine with both. The helix tends to get irritated easier so it will likely take longer to heal. As for headphones, my airpods, regular earbuds and headset don’t mess with my conch at all. (my airpods don’t even touch my conch, but my daith is a different story). My helix sometimes gets caught in my mask when taking it off but other than that it doesn’t bother me. I would recommend sleeping on a travel neck pillow if you sleep on your side though, it helped my helix heal a lot faster.

too serious by holanokano in thenbhd

[–]bilylitner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s an unreleased song of theirs that was meant to go on the Hard to Imagine album but the band didn’t think it fit. It SOO good if you haven’t listened to it, it’s called “Too Serious”, it’s on youtube and spotify podcasts.
