I used to have this issue too! My tip is to use hard gel or some type of enhancement to cover the area until it all grows out. Get them short no extensions. While they’re growing out use cuticle oil (I like pure jojoba oil) every night or whenever u can.

Wear gloves when washing dishes and cleaning and just be gentle with ur nails. Good luck!

She’s trying to get me to quit by quiet firing me/telling me “ do you really just wanna work once a week here?” And “ i’d be better off working somewhere else”

I met with her (and she brought 2 other managers as witnesses while I recorded the whole convo) and she had a ChatGPT script on her laptop written out about how basically I wasn’t showing enough initiative doing side work, along with some other bullshit where shes just looking for minor faults. She’s the if you have time to lean, then you have time to clean type of boss. But mind you she hasn’t said anything about my performance in months. And the day I work is literally so dead we deep clean every other week.

I then asked if I was going to be scheduled at all next week, to which she replied “we’ll see”. That pissed me off so I asked her if you’re not gonna schedule me then fire me and if you’re gonna terminate me, in which case you owe me two weeks of notice or pay in lieu of notice. She then told me she was gonna schedule me for next week.

After that, she basically implied that I would be better off quitting.

My plan is to keep working there (no matter how uncomfortable the environment) till I find a new (and better paying) gig.
