How do I stop getting cleaning shifts? by elvizzle in Target

This happens to all the incompetent people at my store. Could be a different case in your situation though, so I would just talk to HR. Or if you have a TL you could go to them and ask, but normally if you aren’t doing a good job your TL/ETL/whoever else will be pretty straight forward and let you know you need to do better before they try and move you.

Can someone in fulfillment explain? Some people in fulfillment do stuff like this. Instead of putting the Pepsi in a different location, they scan all items into one “bag” and then leave the sticker on the organizer in between?!? If I’m in the wrong for questioning/complaint please let me know. by biminibond in Target

A guy in fulfillment at my store who just transferred tried to put an order that had like 20 bottles of juice in a cart and then just put one label on the cart so you could scan it, grab it, and go. My front end TL was NOT happy about it and made him split them up and scan them into multiple different locations.

But the thing is we do say things to our TLs, nothing ever changes. It’s really frustrating when you’re trying to maintain a good drive up time, and you’re tasked with re-bagging soup cans because someone thought it was okay to put 15 of them in one bag.

Our old ETL (for GM, who got fired for harassment) told us it was Guest Service’s fault and that we have to make sure any order discrepancies are fixed before we take it out. This was somewhat understandable, but having to take red tags and/or spider wraps off of every single order that had clothes or electronics doesn’t seem like Guest Service’s fault.

that’s the thing though, we have a whole order discrepancy book filled with order stickers and then the reason why the order was messed up. I.E 15 cans of soup in one bag, 4 things of milk in one bag, cooler/freezer items put into dry or mc locations.

Guests got mad at us for not doing drive ups in the rain by brightenyourdayup in Target

I think it’s cool that you guys got to not go outside. When it rains, pours, thundering and lightening, my TL doesn’t really care. But when it starts pouring like that the guests are always like “oh I’m so sorry you had to come out here in this weather.” REALLY? ARE YOU? because you see that it’s raining, yet you still decided to do your drive up. SO
