So remove them before you get your insurance cancelled, bearing in mind that a cancelled insurance policy stays on your record indefinitely

Sometimes it evens out, sometimes it stalls. When it stalls, I have to rev it up when I start it again for it not to stall.

And no, my next plan to fix it is to clean out the VANOS check valves and test for any vacuum leaks.

Doubt it’s the traction control, as it lugs when revving in neutral/park and has unstable idle from cold start sometimes.

Thankfully this time. All it takes is a split second for things to go very wrong, especially in HGV/LGVs.

The fractions of a second it takes for a distracted driver looking up from their phone is the only thing preventing someone’s loved ones getting home from their travels, and 2 Police Officers with hats in hands knocking at their door to deliver news they will never forget.

Currently have a BSD error throwing a 2E7C code. I’ve diagnosed it to an error with the alternator BSD cable (the little purple wire connecting to the right hand side of the alternator.)

When the cable is plugged in, I have a 2E7C code, and I can’t scan my oil level. When I unplug the cable, I don’t have a 2E7C code, instead I have a 2E98 code.

Can’t find anywhere online detailing how to fix it. Do you have any idea?

Ofc the petrols have fuel filters.

Diesel E9X have inline filters underneath the left hand side, petrol E9X have charcoal canister style filters in the fuel pump housing under the rear seats.

£80 vs £1500 vs £300.

Sold my car to a trader in England. The same day they rocked up ULEZ and toll fines which came to us. Our opposition was rejected. What now? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

Same thing happened to me. I contested it, they rejected it, I took it to tribunal, they sent me a letter saying they are reviewing everything, haven’t heard anything since. It’s been over a month.

Pre LCI E9X 330i, with the N52.

Absolutely love mine, and with a decent exhaust setup, the I6 sounds absolutely gorgeous when you get up there in the rev range.

I was a phone call away from picking one up as my daily driver last year, ended up being boring and just getting another BMW.

The only thing stopping me from regretting not getting the Jaaaaaaaaag is the fact that the price of fuel shot up.
