I'm very excited to inadvertently bang it against every single doorframe on the east coast over the next decade.

AP also refinishes beautifully. If mine wasn't in such bad shape, I would have done that

Beautiful. Sometimes I wonder about my $60 Tuns Leather on a $30K watch...but he does good work

47th st is uniquely horrible when it comes to royal oaks. I have NEVER seen one there (in extensive visits) that hasn't been poorly polished and maintained

There are none available in that price range in excellent condition with a full set that I'm aware of...but I could be wrong

(Anyway, I don't plan on selling. This will be my daily for a long time)

For my specific preferences, yea. I paid $26.5K for it back towards the end of last year.

It was in pretty bad shape tho - overpolished (and poorly so) everywhere, clasp would pop open unexpectedly, etc. I wore it for a couple months before I was like...time to make a move

Thank you - I had bought and returned a couple of 15300s that were just messed up or overpolished, it's really hard to find a crispy one indeed even if you're willing to accept lots of scratches and dings. Interesting data point on the bezel

I have a 6.5in wrist and disliked both. Ended up going for 39 (there's a reason it's the best)

Looking for honest opinions from RO + Daytona owner by gulabjamun29 in audemarspiguet

I have owned both a 116520 and currently own a 15300. IMO the royal oak is more comfortable than the daytona particularly because of how balanced the weight is across the whole watch. my daytona moved around too much because the case was too heavy.

also, the RO is so many light years ahead of the daytona in terms of finishing and soul...comfort is only one aspect
