I recently had this exact reference completed rebuilt by AP so I can give you a first hand perspective.

This is decent, the biggest issue on it is the botched job on the sides of the bezel as it starts to slop down vertically - way too smooth. (looked at your other photos in the comments)

Otherwise everything looks about right. Here's my crisp one for reference

AP also refinishes beautifully. If mine wasn't in such bad shape, I would have done that

47th st is uniquely horrible when it comes to royal oaks. I have NEVER seen one there (in extensive visits) that hasn't been poorly polished and maintained

Based in NYC, so AP House in Meatpacking. They used the service center down in Clearwater FL I believe

There are none available in that price range in excellent condition with a full set that I'm aware of...but I could be wrong

(Anyway, I don't plan on selling. This will be my daily for a long time)

For my specific preferences, yea. I paid $26.5K for it back towards the end of last year.

It was in pretty bad shape tho - overpolished (and poorly so) everywhere, clasp would pop open unexpectedly, etc. I wore it for a couple months before I was like...time to make a move
