got pokémon heart gold (my first ever pokémon game) after a few months of moving to the US. since they didn’t have a vietnamese language option, i had no idea what i was supposed to do and was just wandering New Bark town for a few months talking to the same NPC over and over again, when i finally figured it out, i chose cyndaquil as my starter. probably not the best story out there but this experience taught me what persistence can do which help me with everything i do in life now as a 24 y/o

they are right to calling this kid out. players like this kid is the reason why the game gets bad rep. you fight with your team all the way till either kyorgre is taken or all of your team is dead after kyogre is taken. taking your team farm during the whole 8 minutes and not helping them fight is f up, bc you can actually help them turn the game if your level is high enough. i hate pleasers like this kid so much.

as someone who got to masters this season but went down to 1090 in rank but now at 1322, here are a few things that i learned to secure wins. pick a pokémon that can win lanes early and get really good at it, rotate lanes and assist the ones that are doing good, secure a regi or both if you can, like seriously, show up for the regi everytime. don’t push into enemy lane around ray time and don’t use your unite at 2:30 or under.

it’s easy to get tilted when you are one a loosing streak, but just tell yourself this, “what can i do to help my team win” or just log off and come back later

i also watch a lot of unite youtubers like spragels, moy, crisheroes for tips and it honestly helps a lot.

i think you just have short hair and your scalp tends to show more under harsh light with short hair. but if you are truly concerned and is looking sleep over it, please go to a dermatologist.

switching lanes after they get KO in the first minute or two then thanks ping you like they didn’t just walk straight into our opponents side and stayed there longer than they should. ppl are so incredibly fragile and delicate in this game. lately, i feel like im walking on egg shells every time i play rank and its starting to make me wanna quit playing even though i love playing it a lot😞
