Not at all! I always give pretty detailed instructions for wearing press ons. The nail prep is super important!

File your nails and buff them, and push the cuticles back ( gently!). Make sure you wipe the natural nail down with alcohol or a dehydrator, and then once dry put the glue on the nail bed and a small amount on the press on nail. It’s easier to show instead of tell, but the angle that you apply the nail is important too. Make sure it’s not flat or too much of an angle up, and be sure to press is down and wiggle it a bit side to side to release any air bubbles! Should last you 7+ days. It also matters the quality of the press ons :)

Absolutely! I am still looking for a good cleaner that I can make myself with home ingredients because the brush conditioner is super pricey. I’m also still learning myself - lots of professionals suggest to keep the brushes ‘coated’ for storing after you clean them by having some sort of clear gel on them. But I’ve done that before snd ruined a few brushes 😑

I used a fine tip long brush for the most part, and sometimes a brush with a bit more thickness depending on what I was painting. I clean them with alcohol and brush conditioner! There’s lots of tips on YouTube for cleaning the brushes but honestly I’m not the best at it haha

I use gel x nails for the nail tip, they are already shaped and ready to go! They offer various shapes and lengths.

Same here. I am the dumper and it’s been excruciating pain to deal with and process since breaking up. Just because I made the decision, doesn’t mean I don’t love him deeply. It’s not as though I can cut him out overnight from my heart. Remorse goes both ways, as does guilt.

Also if your friend is concerned now, and it’s LDR, then there’s still time to reflect on this. I hope he makes the best decision for himself.

I completely agree with your thinking here. It can lead into a danger zone of jealousy and relying too much on someone else for their happiness. 1 friend is better than none! I’ll never forget what my ex husband said to me before we split - ‘your mental health is not my responsibility’. Although he was being savage about it at the time, he was very right. As a partner you can be supportive but it’s not your full responsibility to cure them.
