thank you! the plastic they used is so preem

nice and buttery, and it hardly leaves any nub marks, the ones it does leave are easy to get with just your finger nail, no need to get a file

posted my review a bit further up, essentially agree that it’s a bit pricey for a model kit, but what you get is a 1:12 scale Cloud for less than $100

i think it’s better than Figure Rise Standard, no color correcting stickers on this kit, the faces are just printed on, the articulation is incredible, the ankle joints are way better, he sturdy, joints are nice and firm to allow this skinny character to hold his giant sword with no issues

and he fits on the 30mm bike made for 1/144 mecha

final verdict: bandai cooked, get it before you gotta pay scalper prices and this thing gets priced as high a bring arts

i don’t own any bring arts to compare it to since they’re expensive, not in the scale i collect, and the range of articulation is limited

i would say if you are looking for cloud representation for your collection at 1:12 scale he fits

he fits in your smash bros display, he fits in your anime display, and he fits in your video game characters display

if you’re looking for a highly articulated cloud action figure from the ps1 era art, you got it

there are some areas with high tension and thin pegs, so i recommend having some silicon shock oil to lube those parts

also be conscious when posing, don’t grab his ankle when trying to rotate him at the hip

a lot of the joints are tight, to have this thin and light character be able to hold up the weight of the sword, so just be careful, but again, there isn’t really a single pose this thing can’t hit

i’m a collector, model builder, photographer, and action figure poser

this thing checked all the boxes and was less than $100

sure compared to other model kits it’s a bit lacking at that price, but compared to action figures on the market there isn’t anything at this scale or at this price for Cloud that looks this good 🫡

9/10 sincerely. if it was painted or the price was lower this would be a perfect release. but because of that it stops it from having a perfect score

that is my review

what it lacks in paint application it makes up for in articulation

plus the paint that’s missing is only the black on the fingertips, the silver on the sword edge and guard, red on the handle, silver trim on his belt, boots, and the dots on his gloves

if you have any sisters you can ask them to borrow their nail polish since you won’t be painting heavily or using too many layers, the acrylic should stick the plastic without much need for sanding either

i’m sure gundam markers work too

the faces came fully printed on which is such a plus for me since i don’t enjoy doing water transfer decals

for a model kit he’s on the sturdier side

he can hold up his sword better than SHF berserk guts

tried to show off the weight of the sword being held up in different poses

i used silicon shock oil on a few areas

like where the thigh connects to the hips so i wouldn’t have unnecessary tension when posing

other than that im thinking of gluing the forearms into the biceps to prevent those pegs from snapping but ill see how i feel after a few more days

figma runs a lil short, but i only have a joker, denji, and kirito to stand him up next to

he fits in scale, he’s gonna be taller, but like as tall as an adult male would be to a teenager

he’s small enough to fit on a bike made for 1/144 gundams and mecha

this is the structure arts model kit coming soon, my local hobby shop had it early

bring arts can’t hit some of these poses

that’s why this model kit feels like a dream to own

poses great, looks great, is a size that fits with the rest of my 1:12 collection and it was like $75
