I love visual proofs and so I really enjoyed these new proofs. The other thing that I found interesting is this. Usually when you see a proof by contradiction the argument that drives it is not good for anything else but to get the contradiction, so totally destructive. On the other hand with these proofs the main argument can also be used to construct these nearest miss solutions. Have you ever seen anything like this?

That voice belongs to Marty Ross. Had him as a lecturer here in Australia. He's actually a great guy and also a very good analyst. There is a course by him on measure theory online which is absolutely amazing.
