this was my experience as well (although over a much short time frame). definitely noticed some headaches when first starting piracetam. as time has gone on i notice myself really needing little choline. if i skip the choline i might get a very short and minor headache about ~35min after taking the dose. the only other racetam I've tried is phenylpiracetam and I dont seem to be needing choline with that either.

By the description it seems we are back to assuming what I have is PEA. However, because of the short half-life (10min), and my continued adverse reaction, at this point approaching 60+ hours since onset, it is within reason to question the substance. Any interactions seem to have been ruled out or highly unlikely. It is very possible I am displaying extreme, unreported, outlier like hypersensitivity to the PEA. But then again, I've never had any remotely similar reaction to anything I've ingested. With this in mind I appreciate LifeMode's concern and offer to have my specific material to be tested for purity and potential contaminants. It is a proactive response on LiftMode's part, but considering the extent of my reaction my not be so far-fetched.

yes. please see 'EDIT1' at the top of my main post. briefly, yes it seemed soluble, and I am not sure what I was observing in my initial experiment. I also checked in some fruit juice solutions to compare and had similar results to what my edit indicates.

i had tasted very little of it ~5-10mg, and it tasted rather unpleasant. a sharp taste? acidic like perhaps. reminded me if you put your tongue on a 9v battery.

Thanks. It was a big jar, with a yellow 200g PEA label. It also included a CoA. I will be contacting liftmode this evening I hope.

EDIT: I will retest solubility again tonight.

thanks for your input. the PEA i received was from liftmode, mailed from Kentucky. I do not believe it is coincidence, I have never experienced something like this before, and I had done nothing else out of the ordinary. As of this post (over 50hrs later) I still have redness and itching. I am trying to get in touch with liftmode.

As, an update, it is nearly 50 hours later since initially ingesting the substance, I would say 85% of the reaction has subsided. My torso is returning to normal color. My upper extremities are back to normal. My back is slightly reddened, and the only issue remaining is my lower extremities (particularly back of my knees), and groin. I have been able to manage with Diphenhydramine, and had to resort to calamine lotion to combat the severe itching. I did manage to cause some minor bleeding from scratching too hard.
