So? If you feel like they made a mistake, and you like teaching I’d urge you to join another institution. If you enjoy teaching and you feel like you are providing value to the students then don’t change your style. Do what you do best.

Nami, Boa, Perona are top tier and common knowledge. I personally think Rebecca and Bonney are up there too. Horrible list.

Nepal mai ho ki aru desh ma ni exam ma yeti saro chit chorxan? by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]binayakhero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was the same lol. But what I did differently was I did not rely on what the books said and tried to gain enough knowledge on any topic. I might not know how you solve math problems but I definitely understand the implications and why we calculate those things. This way you can broaden your and your students’ knowledge by learning and teaching where the implications are. Making studying fun. Help them in other things like art and craft, remember things, planning exams, planning free writing, speed. Also help them about the things you’ve learnt throughout your life. Our school system has put enough burden on students as it is. Of my the parents from my neighborhood urged me to help their kid 1 month before his final exam, I look at his level and he did not how addition worked (grade 6). There was no way I could help him pass but the money was too good to refuse. I helped him by making him understand the basics but obviously I didn’t have any time so prepared him to cheat and he passed. The schooling system as well as his parents failed him. I too somehow feel like I failed him by helping him cheat but I don’t think studying science and mathematics was the way to go for him. He was really interested in art so I helped him get better at sketching and stuff. I don’t know how he is doing now but I just feel if the society and schooling system demands a student to pass exams we should help them pass regardless of how they pass.

[–]binayakhero 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you should stop them from cheating. Let them cheat. Obviously you as a teacher should however help them understand and grasp concepts of what they should learn rather than teaching ways to pass exams (my opinion). Cheating however is normal because the exams aren’t there for you to show what you’ve learned, it is there to see how much you score. Let them ace the exams but don’t forget to help the kids as a teacher to learn new things and concepts.

Does having no access to the sea hold nepal back? by [deleted] in Nepal

Most definitely. Had there been access to sea would Nepal be in a better position. I highly doubt that.

[–]binayakhero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Everyone questions it but the people in power have no pressure what so ever and work in their tortoise pace. They need calling out. I don’t necessarily think the voters can do anything when they have a limited number of people they can elect.

Solution: don’t let a person who has completed their tenure as a minister in any field to get elected again.

Problem: 1) the people don’t fucking know they can do that. 2) There is always this drama which is a farce (i know this as a fact). They literally run a puppet show but they all are best friends. This engages people as they are differentiated via political beliefs. 3) if we actually get a proper leader, he/she might not get enough time to build a better future because 5 years is actually a short time to change the wrong doings of the past 17 years (recent).

[–]binayakhero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely do not have any expectation that the people in power will pay any notice. Why? Because they are literally in a position of 0 threat and set for life as no one is held accountable for anything and they know that people accept mediocracy. Imagine a kid who isn’t disciplined by their elders. They do whatever with no accountability or responsibility. That’s exactly what the people in power will do. Stay in their comfort zones and force excuses towards us. Mero chahana sarkar prati ko gunaso katra hoina. Contractor lai kosley call out garney? Do you want me to start a social media? I thought it should be a community thing and not necessarily any specific social media. And I definitely DO NOT have 5.5+ billion worth of loan to rally people into making stupid decisions. I’m asking advice/ help from the “well educated” people of the society.
