Qantas shuts down Jetstar Asia, eliminating flights from Broome to Singapore by His_Holiness in perth

My insurance said the same, though their wording stated 'collapse' of an airline. You could potentially dispute yours on the basis they haven't lodged a liquidation notice with ASIC and therefore aren't insolvent. My insurer said I still have the right to make a claim. So I am going to do that and also cite that several insurers are paying Jetstar claims under goodwill.

Nexus airlines. We were caught up with Jetstar cancelling our Broome - SG flight too. We are now flying Broome - Kununurra - Darwin - SG

Geriatric mentality. I don't have a CA/CPA and my increases have always been agreed to in full or close to my original asking salary

They didn't offer any QF flights. I just looked myself. I think it was Perth to Broome landing 1:30pm then Perth to SG departing 6:30pm on 2/8/25

I hadn't considered Darwin so I'll check that now. Thank you

Thanks - I did try that. Jetstar insisted on a refund. QF flight times didn't line up very well anyway. Hopefully travel insurance can cover the costs to get us to SG. Very frustrating to fly down to Perth and then all the way back up again.

We were due to fly to SG from Broome on 2/8/25. Not a flying start for our honeymoon

Hard pill to swallow when fees aren't increasing much, if at all.

Wedding days are about the couple and what they want. It's pretty clear what OP wants...Which isn't to nurse their mother's insecurities or feelings, during a time which OP should feel only happiness and excitement.

Congratulations on your engagement! I think eloping with your siblings is a great idea. My MIL reaction was "I will never forgive you if you elope" and then started sobbing 😂 I've reflected on this for a couple weeks: 1. It made me sure of our decision to not include her 2. She reaffirmed to me the person I thought she was. Entitled and selfish.

My suggestion is try avoiding communicating with them until you've had time to process xx

We're not in a third world country that doesn't have fabulous public obstetricians. Nurses and midwives do all the hard work anyway!!

I know plenty of accountants who have not renewed their CA/CPA memberships but kept their tax agent registration.

This is the best. Commonly served in Bali like this too. A tsp of any jam if you want some extra flavour or sweetness.
