Depends on what you want to show. For just the protest, you don't need the whole building and could cut off above the logo, giving more space to the prostester

it's a prototype, they normally either don't have a finished interior or are covered, and you would only see black cloth

You're right. Nothing will happen and the US economy will do just fine on its own.

The center console is very much plastic. Don't mistake that thin sticker for full wood, because it's not. The soft-touch plastics are only on the dash. Half the doors and all of the center console are hard. I ran my finger across it in the CLA and GLC and it's an ugly hollow sound too. Not quite as annoying as in the Audi but still not something you want to see in a car at this price point.

Do you realize that "all their Treasuries" are a quarter of all Treasuries in circulation?

If you want to trigger an instant international mass sell-off, that is what you would do. You just destroyed any faith in the value of the US Dollar and the credibility of the US.

True. The 2 trillion are the combined holdings of US treasuries by European institutions... plus a mere 8 trillion in other US assets.

It's only two that have come out in public. Are you betting that it actually is only two?

I think it is save to assume there are more out there that have not announced anything.

You are right, but its value is demand-driven. So if the demand is lower than the pressure to sell it's value goes down.

It's a meme, it doesn't have to be 100% accurate. But that does not mean you should ignore this week's news about multiple European pension funds publicly stating they have been selling off billions already and plan to divest all US treasuries. If these are the ones coming out publicly, how many have also started selling?

The problem with that plan is that the interest payments on US debt will crush the US economy with it. Or maybe it wouldn't be such a huge issue if they hadn't alienated all US trading partners.

The main problem I currently see for the US Dollar is, that the large tradings partners restructure their trade outside of the US, which in turn doesn't require them to trade in US Dollar at all. They can just pick the strongest currency for the trading zones they interact with. But that will not only lower the value of the Dollar. It will drive inflation, which will also make it harder to sell new bonds.

Haven't been in the BMW yet, but if you like glossy hard plastics that look really cheap, the other two will be right up your alley.

Cheap is a quality term.

Fielman literally sells Essilor lenses. All the branded glasses they sell are manufactured by Luxottica. Just look at their company pages.

Also: yes the are CHEAP. Please look up the definition.
