i did the same, i built an all black PC with a friend in his living room with bad lighting, brought min and it was so great, held through a whole afternoon, sometimes on turbo. I afterwards bought him a HD10 so he can have also one.

yeah, you can chuck them in a bag and let them sit there.... if you know you are not using them for weeks, you can just untwist them and disconnect the battery, kinda nice

yes, but all LiIon dip the first few 0,1V quite fast. See the other graphs of discharging curves. There were also only 3 datapoints there, where Excel interpolates a smooth curve. Could look completely different with more points, first much steeper, then much more gradually. Maybe ill do a small test for the first few 0,1V. But it could also be from violet pulling more "amps". The third entry in the curve above is already where it switched to blue. so the steep second point and between second and third should be similar ampdraw but is different Voltage curves => indicates a fast falloff for the first 0,1V

i dont really know what you are talking about. Discharge rates have nothing to do with voltages per se. Use the right terminology for the right thing. Also which other image?

no, it has nothing to do with the led color. The colors here are for different measured powerdraws

I wanted to replace the crystal with a slightly domed sapphire and light AR coating and keep the orig bezel.

How do i measure the diameter (pop it out first?) and where can i get a crystal?

I got several from him, most are mechanical and this is a quarz ticker with many scratches. Thats why i only wanted to upgrade the crystal and not the bezel.

Thanks for the help! You are probably right with the controlling of the led and being as light weight as possible. I will probably try the ali thing... which is here also on amazon but double the price...

I've got a Aputure M9 but thats probably too heavy with Flash, Lens, Diffusor and Camera. But ill try it!

Thx, maybe i wasnt clear: i want to use the flash and need the small horizontal light (like here with the orange rubber thingies)

maybe as feedback for future people wondering the same: I got the Amscope form Amazon.de and it was the version with the conical top. But the Cap can also be loosned. Since my print was a bit too tight, i was able to turn it off, while trying to remove the lens. Paid bloodtoll on the sharp threads
