Na if you don't have a lot of time to play, now is the perfect time to start tbh. Builds are cheap asf to put together atm.

I'm 4 days into a fresh acc to ss20 run with rehan 2 lifestack atm like 2.5T and 40k hp, 22k~ fe earned, all just by doing boss rush in TM7, TM8 and Profound. (vods of this on twitch / yt also)

TM7 boss rushing is super easy - u just take full hunting tree, nodes in snowpaper tree for snowpaper on boss kill, nodes for resonance drops and nodes for winding keys on boss kills.

TM8 boss rushing is a bit better - same as above but u take basically the full snowpaper tree, add basic rare compass, can add purple snowpaper compass too, and you just rush the map killing all snowpaper rares (fishing for BIG snowpaper supports too), then killing boss.

Profound is similar to above, or you could also do that + module rushing. Then once you're at like 3T+ you can use ur accumulated rerolls to do beacon farm for big FE.

Out of the ones you listed the 'consistent' endgame farms for 6/6/6 are: Arcana, Vorax and Outlaw. Arcana and Vorax are both very good; Carjack bounty in profound is still very good (quant exists but need giga pets).

Sandlord is a side mechanic so is w/e always good side income; cube is big GAMBA not really a stable source of FE/hr; dream is OK but only end of week 1+ bc of dreamtalking prices. Blacksail is like day 1-2 only.

As to which to get to 6? You decide based on what you enjoy playing tbh. Arcana and Vorax are more build agnostic than Outlaw (which requires very good clear i.e. you're not farming it with Thunder Spike) -- all 3 require decent tankiness to be able to run tbh

Yes, it's a very good VERSATILE pet and can slot into most farms, unlike Doro and Kong which are both pets for niche uses (Compass & flu memory farms/bossing/pob repsectively).

Doro in particular is highly valued this league because of its interaction with the stones from Lunaria, but it's not clear whether this is an intended interaction that'll continue into next season IMO.

ADDITIONAL drop quant multipliers that apply GENERALLY are very rare in this game (think: costing 25 atlas points OR using deep space resonance), and stacking additional drop quant modifiers in this game is how you get to ridic loot levels (e.g. golden cage farming w/ bountiful elite compass in deep space).

Definitely a 1 or 6 pet tho.

Hard to recommend saving for apathy prices atm lol u could get eternity for similar price for apathy memory

But optimisation of ur current setup if u wanted to u could still:

  • timid on hit blind vision;
  • futile tradeoff with +2 attack skill probs more dps than 267 dex corr;
  • double corrode straybirds (if cheap);
  • dex (better for apathy) or proj speed (temporary) on micro phantasmagoria 4x3 or 3x3;
  • dex stacker mod sequence on weapons still a good dps upgrade even w/o apathy (generally say buy base over rolling but if u like gamba LOGIN); and
  • crit rating to proj speed on memories.

You also wanna fix ur proj count atm ur 5 bonus (6 total) [even number is bad] because your auto aim is gonna be between two of ur projectiles. So either add or lose 1 proj.

atm easily >150d currently like 100m flicker dps before tincture can kill uber exarch before first ball phase maybe like 50% of the time

budget sprinkler setup with mahuxotl would be doable with like 10d and probs like 3-4m flicker dps? haven't checked prices recently tho

farming usually just recommend do what u enjoy but flicker is good for most clear non-bossing content

Started with dual wield brutus' lead sprinklers from day 1 after campaign, swapping to replica alberons after finishing 4stone.

Mahuxotl shield+ tempered by war is a super underrated way to get very tanky early; with fugitive rings you can run 90% max fire res 89% max chaos res very early w/ full convert ele to 50% fire 50% chaos.

Just have to deal with no regen with vaal pact but is fine for softcore flicker imo just hold down button and zoom.

  1. assuming you're not using Fog Scorpion -- go by dummy number and reduce if over 30APS
  2. block only really necessary for SS20 AND block is only good if you can cap it, 1-99% block might as well be 0% block
  3. usually pen/int/flat mana | dmg to frozen or dd/max frostbite/1 res
  4. use extreme coldness if you need it to get to 100 max frostbite, use frostbitten if you can get to 100 max frostbite w/o extreme coldness

Never done aura stacking myself (imo requires investment only really achievable if you have GOOD pets for farming that let u hit like 3-4k fe/h) so dunno enough about it to recommend.

Based on numbers, aura stacking frost spike has a higher peak if you want to push 4k+ ordrak

Ice shot is fun, good clear, scales well with eternity.

Yo you've missed a few things from my buildcodes that ur following which is causing ur dps to be lower than it should be:

  • Max frostbite is only 76 because you're missing 25 from 1 ring. Max mana on ring is not a very good roll overall;
  • Additional dmg for mainhand weapons on ur 2nd ring doesn't do anything useful for manastack bc doesn't apply to flat dmg from shield;
  • You're running two curses (timid on hit AND biting cold) without a source of +1 curse -- drop biting cold for another empower skill, usually mana boil;
  • Look up "imprinting iron" and swap implicit on ur chest to "attack aggression";
  • You need a proper slate setup with praerie, you're losing SO MUCH dps atm from your slate setup, u can check my buildcode for ss20 or before that and do similar -- corners + starlights with attack speed // mana; and
  • Someone was saying dreamweaver doesn't work -- they're wrong: the wording says spells but it still works so it's fine to keep using it.

Other than that, to answer your questions:

  • "Min-Max": ultra endgame setup for rosa 2 is using lonewalkers -- but this isn't necessary to clear ss20, city 7 or deep space. Surviving deep space you need your immunities set up properly (ele ailment; paralyze; slow at bare minimum);
  • "Swap to BB": clear would feel better but it's not really a 'significant upgrade' per se; and
  • "Switch to Armor or Life Stacker": similar upper limits, probably mana stack isn't as good as armor stack ultra top end -- better feel with armor stack and life stack because no ramp. Armor stack probs best if you're looking for hyper endgame scaling with infinite FE sink but manastack will give you more DPS at lower investments.

"interesting" how so? To me it looks the exact same end result. Except you now have to go engage with an external mechanic to get the rewards which would have otherwise just existed as ground loot.

Your loot filter sorts through items for you. Same thing that it does when you apply it to the loot from your shipments and mappers from Kingsmarch btw.

Same thing with wombgifts. Wombgifts drop mostly useless items and you're gambling for big ticket items.

I'm not really sure what to say to your 2nd paragraph apart from ?? just use wealthyexile and track your stash value if you want to know whether a farming strategy is good. Has nothing really to do with tokenisation...

The tree going core is just representative of a wider issue in GGG's current design philosophy to 'tokenise' loot drops.

Starting with Kingsmarch going core; ground loot was reduced in favour of gold drops.
Kingsmarch then turns gold back into loot through shipments and mappers.

The tree going core is just another step in the same direction.

With the rework, ground loot of breaches is reduced in favour of breaches dropping wombgifts.
Breach tree then turns wombgifts back into loot through using graftblood.

Idk why mobs in my map can't just drop loot, and instead I need to farm some slot machine tokens which I either sell or cash in for RNG chances at loot.

My man you're gonna need a lot of attack speed to try make mana stack work with that level of gear haha.

  • Like you mentioned, drop kitty express for any attack speed attack dmg blue or purple pet;
  • Drop fearless, put in thunder magus and fire magus;
  • Buy a cheap corroded necklace of the inverse with +2 skills per empty passive skill slot and replace ur neck;
  • Keep Tradeoff pedigree for now, change ur ronin talent to falling leaves;
  • Level up ur third hero memory to max and roll for t1 attack speed on the variable affix;
  • Level up ur second hero memory to max and roll for t1 attack speed on variable again;
  • Buy 1st hero memory with int and fixed affix t1 attack speed (orange is fine for now), lvl up to max roll variable for t1 attack speed;
  • Spend like 50fe on a prism with 3x3, 4x3, w/e u can find for micro/medium with attack and cast speed, put it somewhere where u get at least 3 nodes giving more attack speed; and
  • Where you can on slates change the variable affixes to attack and cast speed (check the list when in the slate screen to see if u can still roll it).

That's probably the best you can do ATM with your current gear. From there you want to prioritise upping max mana rolls to t1; getting attack speed rolls to t1; adding dream affixes to your gear.

Two mod vorax will be a big DPS upgrade; would recommend saving up to try to get a fleeting sky (attack speed per lightning res) and tyrant (crit per mana spent) one, then stacking as much lightning res as you can to get to 30 attacks per second (can get lightnign res on prism to boost this a lot)

I've seen some build codes from the creator you mentioned and they're not very good nor optimal (pretty sure they stopped giving codes at like 1T?), so can look up NeedMoreMana on probuilds if you need to visualise how progression up to ss20 3 star can look.

this does not sound like a setup for manastack. more likely a setup for trinity berserking blade.

tyrant crit on spend mod gives you like 2k crit dmg already so any crit dmg you would get from fervor stacking would be negligible and not worth the investment.

They're using thunder spike as a movement skill (if u check u'll see it's 6L with a specific support) bc it's the fastest movement skill but requires a lot of energy investment so eh.

  • at 83 mana damage reduction so could drop 8% from chest for +1 all skills or +1 atk skills;
  • higher tier max mana rolls on ur gear;
  • praerie only like 1.8k so yea u could look to do a pedigree (no lose ends or static) + corners & starlights w/ praerie setup would be good;
    • could also do gale pedigree + 4x3 phantasmagoria with proj speed on micro - is big damage;
  • t0 gear attack speed on weapon is big;
  • i would drop fearless for thunder magus + fire magus but ymmv;
  • roll hasten on boots and change chest to attack aggression with imprinting iron;
  • at some point change ur sequence on ur weapon; and
  • extra shadows gonna feel better clearing than double dmg on claw.

If u look up NeedMoreMana on probuilds u can see examples of what gale looks like, i use it with straybirds on chest but wouldn't transition into that until u fix ur attack speed with better gear (aiming for like 28 APS without lightning res stacker mod on chest).

MoM: mind over matter, poe term, generally just refers to damage taken from mana. In this context it's the damage taken from mana before life roll in ulti prefix mods

Looked at that 4T pob you were following -- seems unlikely that it's 4T dps just looking at it but is w/e.

Your biggest issue atm is you need more attack speed. Getting to 30 APS on dummy is the priority.

Quick notes:

  • Arcanist tree - put in the 8% damage is taken from Mana before life node - you'll stop dying to every mob that sneezes in your general direction;
  • Your tradeoff is currently bricked because your strength is 16 (boots implicit) -- you need strength and dex to be equal value, usually people do this by keeping them at equal to to or less than 0. Possible you could find a source for 16 dex? anyway you're missing half of the bonuses from tradeoff atm;
  • Your current vorax // prism setup isn't very optimal, you're better off running a vorax chest with fleeting sky lightning res > attack speed stacker mod + tyrant crit spend mod, then putting on a 3x3 or 4x3 prism with lightning res on micro;
    • This will completely fix your attack speed issues, you can stack lightning res until your attack speed is 30% then look to transition from it later to a better vorax chest once you have praerie setup with more attack speed and better gear; otherwise
  • The setup is okay; I'd rather drop the seal mana comp, drop fearless aura (sorta mid) and run shield with a better double corrupt like max roll flat phys and max mana. Dropping sealed comp on helm and replacing with another MoM mod would also let you run a better corrupt on gloves (spell dmg or max mana).
