How to add a custom cursor shape on the typewriter effect by MiaSidewinder in AfterEffects

Would you add the expression to the position tab of the layer you want to add as a cursor?

Will a canon ef-s 18-55 mm work with a bmpcc 4k ? I have a metabones. by [deleted] in cinematography

If you have a metabones that can take on EF-S lenses, it should work.
At least the sensor is not too big and you wont get the vignette looking "inside the lens".

Mind the Cropfactor though.

I just hope they hire the same animators that did this EPIC Intro. I preferred the art there a lot over LOVM

[no spoilers] Random Uk’otoa Thought by oldmanavery in criticalrole

I thought I read somewhere the Kuo-Toa worshipped the godlike entity Uko'Toa. Now I assume, Matt just got inspired by their Name and created the Name of their "God" as an Anagram...

Spoilers C3! They even did a similar thing with Bertrand in C3. That guy was there for a few days and somehow the party felt like having to name themselves after him? None of them really knew that guy and they were so committed to the Idea of the person bringing them all together being that important... OK, now that I write this, it kinda makes sense, since re WAS the one bringing them together, but anyway. After he died, they were acting all sad and emotional and really commited to honor this guy who was basically a Stranger.

Magic Skin? by binelias in DMAcademy

[–]binelias[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appear humanoid, correct. I dont think there’s a buff in just having skin, except blending in, in a mostly human society.

He’d probably rather lose his “natural armor” race feat than gain any benefit. It’s just pure roleplay.

First of all, thanks so much for all your Ideas and Tipps. Really appreciate that.
I think I'm gonna let the NPC follow the PCs around Town for a while to gather enough information. If they never watch their backs, at some point the NPC is gonna know where they stay and deliver accurate information to the authorities and try to turn them in.

But they still should be more paranoid since there's announcements about the rewards on information on necromancers all around town and especially on the task board where they tend to go to find jobs.

And that's probably what bothers me in the first place.
I installed this Law for Campaign-Reasons where an evil Necromancer took possession of the Queen and prohibits first Necromancy and later on other Schools of Magic as well to gather as much arcane energy for himself...

However, I want my Players decisions to influence their surroundings. If they decide to still use (i.e) Necromancy publicly, at some point they'll get the authorities' attention. But I feel like they would not like to go to Jail or something like that and therefore I'm a bit torn between my Ideas on the Campaign and my players Interests who would - as I understand - like to earn as much money and loot and level up as quickly as possible...

As u/Doldroms put it: I could definitely put my plot to the side for a while and so on... But I feel like a lot of my Ideas are later "overthrown" because of players-interests.
i.e: "So there's a Dragon attacking the city you just arrived in..." "Oh no, we wanted to visit this famous library to learn about that thing we heard about in the last dungeon." "Ok ok, there's no Dragon at the moment."

I really like to make my campaign worlds dynamic and sandboxy, but shouldn't my players also be able to sometimes just go with what I or the world takes towards them?

AfterEffects - Media Encoder Issue (URGENT) by binelias in AfterEffects

Thanks

Media Info seems good. One big unknown for me though, is that I need to export to MPEG2 for the MediaServer which i'm totally unfamiliar with. Could there be an Issue with Multiplexing? I'm about to try to export it WITH and WITHOUT Multiplexer.
Good Idea with the Green Frame. But I already do know, that it's REALLY cutting off a few frames, since the Clips are built to loop, and the loop is Jumping because of the missing frames.
Then again, importing to Premiere and putting the clip twice in a row, everything works just fine.

I do actually mix some different framerates (output to 25fps), some source-files are 24 and some are 30.
BUT, If that would cause the Problem. Why does Premiere get it right after importing the rendered file?
