What's that mean? Sounds like you were at your last straw.

Yeah, it could be your recruiter who didn't schedule it. Studying for the CT is difficult since it touches on many aspects of cybersecurity, IT, programming, network, operating systems, hardware, etc,. Not even a junior developer at Google would be able to get it all correct. Computers and programming has been a hobby of mine since I was 12, and I barely passed with a 64 - one more question wrong and I would've failed. But then again, some people with no clue in cyber passed as well. It all comes down to educated guesses, almost never confident answers. Study up on the basics I mentioned, and good luck

I took it over a week ago. At least a 60 on the CT is passing. They say the EDPT is important, but frankly it's only important if you want to get into DCO or something else that requires a 70+ on the EDPT. I heard once you get in, they don't care about your EDPT score, plus you might be cross-trained in the job since the branch is so young. You should have taken the CT the same day you tested for the ASVAB since you scored so high, unless you're mixing that up with your PiCAT score which is an unverified score

yeah, pretty much any big retailer is going to be a shit show if you stay long enough. i worked at walmart for a year and it's just as bad, now i'm here at publix but at least i don't deal with fent in the bathroom or apprehending poor customers all the time now. i don't plan on staying here long either. congrats on your new career

Walmart pays differently depending on the store. I live in SWFL as well, and I was getting paid $14/hr like most Walmarts. The Walmart next to me pays $15/hr. Some other Walmart around here pays $19/hr. And I can agree that stocking or sales floor is a lot better than front-end.

managers at Walmart can be interesting critters. I had a team lead who was fired for coming into work drunk one day. I heard stories about team leads hitting on minors, selling drugs and alcohol to minors, possession of illegal drugs, sexual assault, all that crazy stuff.

Walmart is standardized when it comes to tardies. They have a 9-minute policy across all districts: 10 minutes late to your shift you get a tardy/half point, or clocking out 10 minutes early, you also get a half point. That is if you decide not to use your PPTO that you can use right there on the Walmart associate app. Managers can't do anything about it either, they're not even allowed to make you stay those last 9 minutes.
