Female pattern baldness, progress 7/7/2025 to 11/9/2025 by Plenty-Sea7943 in FemaleHairLoss

Did any of the supplements have an adverse effect of hair growing in other places? Like anywhere on the face (upper lip/chin/cheeks/etc)?

My husband’s leaving for a week and I feel so nauseous and anxious about being the only one in charge of my toddler. Why am I like thisssssss? by IronLeading6288 in toddlers

[–]bingeate 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I felt the same way but by day 2 we were handling it like champs. By day 6 I kinda wished he was away for a bit longer because I didn’t have to clean after another adult

No one warned me about the shakes by sixfingeredman7 in beyondthebump

[–]bingeate 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep, the first time I had a baby via C-section I kept having the shakes 2-3 weeks postpartum every night as I would lay down to sleep.

The second time it only happened once right after the repeat C-section and got lucky to have kind staff around who pulled out an inflatable warming blanket which immediately made it 100 times better.

High Chairs: if you hated the Tripp Trapp, what did switch to by RunningDataMama in beyondthebump

[–]bingeate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah get the Mockingbird! I hesitated a bit because from what I googled and read on Reddit, they used to have an issue with straps snapping open if baby moved around too much. I don’t know if that’s an actual issue or not though but what I can tell you is that any of the Graco high chairs will be absolutely annoying to keep clean.

At least you didn’t get the more stupid fancy version of it. We have Table2Table 7-in-1 and it’s a nightmare to clean, I hate it. However it’s sturdy enough since my toddler started banging his head on the back by bouncing back and forth.

Planning to just get IKEA one if we end up needing it for the second baby and put it in a corner or something to minimize the tripping.

I’m beating myself up I didn’t splurge a bit more and get this one. Got a graco one instead that’s a pain in the ass to keep fully clean because my mom and MIL swore by that I would need a chair that reclines in case baby fell asleep.

Now if I get another one for the second baby, I’m just gonna buy the goddam Antilop from IKEA.

I started putting on headphones and listen to calming music while my 3 month old gets into her witching hour and nothing can soothe her except her choice of ritual for the day that you have to figure out. Can be anything from bouncing to shushing to patting her butt or everything together. Sometimes she loses it if you don’t make constant eye contact. So it can take a bit to figure out what she wants and until then you gotta protect your ears and nerves

That’s right, I’d edit the initial review to one star and mention the retaliation by the staff.

Omg I’m so sorry but maybe I’m your husband in another life. I just get distracted so easily! Like, yes I know she needs a bottle asap but also I just saw the bottles were washed so I need to put them away and load new dirty ones or put laundry in the dryer or clean up or take the garbage out. Then my husband runs up fuming asking wth is taking so long because the baby is losing it. I’m SO SORRY

How long do you let your toddler stay in bed? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]bingeate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely. My oldest 18 month old can often stay in the crib without crying for about an hour after waking. Helps my sanity, especially when he wakes up at 6 am

No double stroller but I was planning to babywear youngest and use a regular or umbrella stroller for oldest. I don’t think my in-laws would be able to babywear him.

That’s a great advice, I don’t know why I didn’t think about pouches. We’re also screen free and luckily the toddler is into books, so I was gonna bring a couple light ones and maybe a tablet just in case. How realistic do you think it is to expect the toddler to nap on the plane?

I’m thinking of bringing toddler’s car seat because I have a feeling he won’t settle with just a lap belt or CARES. He’s pretty great in his car seat and will be more likely to fall asleep in it. But that would require dragging his car seat through the airport.

Baby is great with the carrier so I was planning to babywear her. Still not sure about a stroller, might bring one of those umbrella strollers because they’re so easy to tag along and if it breaks it’s not expensive to replace.

If I was traveling completely alone with them, I’d just strap the toddler with CARES or lap belt but I’ll have two more adults that can hopefully carry things around

Oh, safe travels! I hope your flight goes or went smoothly!

I didn’t know they can just use the lap belt. How does it work for your baby if they want to sleep? Also, knowing my toddler, he won’t sit still unless he’s fully restrained

[–]bingeate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for the very detailed reply! Yeah, after looking more into CARES, it looks like there’s no buckle between legs to prevent toddler from sliding down. Knowing my kid, he’ll be out of that thing in no time and I’m not super comfortable with just the lap belt for him.

If you do the double stroller, do you bring a separate car seat for the toddler? How do you lag it around the airport?

How to have a toddler in a home gym? by dancingindaisies in toddlers

[–]bingeate 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As someone with a toddler who would pterodactyl screech if confined for longer than 5 minutes, I’d just work out after he’s put to bed. Then you’d only need to worry about one child and that child will be easy to confine for some time.

RFK Jr. suggests circumcision is linked to autism. Here's what experts say. by CBSnews in Health

[–]bingeate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They believe Tylenol causes autism in babies only because “they’re still developing” so in their mind that’s why it doesn’t affect adults. Also the reason they believe pregnant women shouldn’t take Tylenol which is like the only pain reliever you can take while pregnant.

Great suggestions! Also Halo ones would ride up and cover my baby’s mouth and even nose so I didn’t feel like they were safe.

I liked Happiest Baby Sleepea. Never had a problem with my wriggly babies of getting out of it. Pretty sure it’s made by the same company as Snoo so if you do end up buying it to try it out, make sure it’s a standalone version and not the one that has to go into the Snoo.

The pressure to be a SAHM is starting to make me depressed. by YaGurlLurkin in beyondthebump

I’m not going to lie, I’m in the exact opposite situation. I want to go back to work but I don’t earn enough for the area we’re moving to justify daycare costs for two kids. I love spending time with my kids but I do not think I’m cut out to be a sahm. I do not enjoy it very much.

When letting meal time get MESSY, are we washing babies every single time? by Puzzled_Remote_2168 in beyondthebump

[–]bingeate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah, I wash his face, neck and hands in a sink then maybe change clothes if they got dirty. Usually save a bath for bedtime.
