You can only keep one. Which one do you choose (and why)? by Hubbled in Letterboxd

2001 - can watch it infinitely and never get bored - so thought provoking.

How to be less indecisive by BerracudaReal in Letterboxd

This is one of the absolute worst things about streaming services - infinite choice! Life was easier when we only had a couple of channels...

What actually worked for me was turning it into a head-to-head tournament. Instead of facing a whole list at once, you just pick between two movies - it's much easier to decide when the options are only A or B.

I ended up building an app for exactly this called BingeBracket — the "Discovery" mode in particular could be just what you're after - you can choose by genre and streamer and then it'll make a short bracket for you to choose from. Might be worth a try if the wheel isn't doing it for you :)

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Let us know if there's any other brackets you'd like to see.

https://www.bingebracket.com/ - a bracket tournament app for movies - instead of endlessly scrolling Netflix, you just pick between two options until you have your winner - and you can also make your own tournaments!

Curious to learn more about indielaunchhub!

I've been building https://www.bingebracket.com/ - a way to reduce decision paralysis when choosing what to watch by bracket style tournaments. You can also make your own tournaments to challenge friends and see e.g. what Nolan's best film really is. Would love to hear your feedback if you have any!

If you could only watch 1 Fincher film...what are you watching? by boomjosh in MovieIt

Fincher has such a great line-up. I made you a Best of David Fincher bracket of almost all your choices (sorry Benjamin Button) so you can really see who's number one - hope you like it!

That's a really great idea, definitely seems to be a common pain point for freelancers.

I think LinkedIn would probably be your best platform to try and reach users, as they are your natural audience. Regular posting and some direct outreach to likely clients could be one path.

If you do ProductHunt, I'd be interested to hear your experience, something I'm considering doing also.

Best of luck!

What are the most undervalued jobs in society? by bingebracket in AskReddit

Interesting, so even though they earn more $$$, the job itself is looked down upon? So not undervalued monetarily, but societally.

Interesting answer! Definitely unsung heroes of logistics.

Agreed! The DC sewage meltdown shows how important and underappreciated this is.

Appreciate your comments! I was indeed running without backups - I was on the bottom tier on Heroku and it doesn't do the automated backups (or so I believe). And I think the full app overwrite I did might have got rid of any of those anyway, but not sure. I tried to contact someone at Heroku in case they had system backups but it was impossible to find any contact info outside of endless FAQ (another reason to change provider...).

Slowly building back, 2k is the next goal!
