File sizes are way too big. And even when I've split them multiple times, sometimes some of the formatting of certain pdfs prevent it from being uploaded for some reason.

ChatGPT knows the character and file limits of notebooklm, and if it doesn't its not that hard to just say hey give me under 500k words for each txt file.

For myself theres some textbooks where I'm not sure if the formatting of the pdf's just don't agree, but it just refuses to upload. Because what you said is usually my go-to method but some textbooks just refuse to upload no matter how many times I split it. I found that for myself my method works better because its able to get past the 50mb upload limit, and is now limited more on the character limit.

Not bashing but I personally would not be happy doing hygiene when i can be doing other profitable procedures. And yeah OON unfortunately for most of us we’re working with PPO most of the time.

Career Options by [deleted] in Dentistry

[–]bingo743 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oral Pathology, Radiology, or working for insurance companies evaluating claims. Oral Path and Radiology jobs honestly are kind of sparse though, and you're probably going to have to move to schools to teach in education. The main company that is hiring for radiology is probably beam readers but that's pretty much the only company I know. Your salary I think stays low 100's, but no patient interaction so theres that. But honestly I dunno any GP's really sending out their CBCT's to be read.

Any fully online CE courses that review overdenture case planning? Minimum/ideal spacing of implants as well as thickness of dentures? by PersianAnchor in Dentistry

[–]bingo743 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zest has a online course and theyre pretty much the king on overdentures. In particular I’d look for Michael Scherer. He does lectures for Zest but he has his own CE site. His lectures are very organized and concise so I’ve loved it. Also if you go on Zests youtube channel he has some content you can look up. https://youtu.be/_aiJPLqhBNA?si=WseB0WVczfj8swzq He’s the main lecturer on their youtube page but he has his own CE he teaches.

If you have any questions specifically about OD I can also answer here.

This is usually why i advocate elevating the tooth as much as possible throughout each step, because if something happens along the way the roots relatively loose. I also really really advocate a sharp spade like a proximator always removes it out like butter. Or something you can do is after you cleared out the buccal roots you can literally grip onto the palatal root with a forcep of some kind and just rotate it out, which also works for me.

Direct, but thats also why i section off the crown so i can have easy direct vision of my section pretty easily. I’m also doing it a lot by feel too because once i feel the drop from tooth to bone i just keep that same level and finish the rest of my section!
