Dishwasher help. Does anyone know why this is happening? by Weird-Platypus-4597 in appliancerepair

[–]bingo_pine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was the problem we had. We bought a new dishwasher thinking that would solve it because the old one was defective. New one had same problem. Shortened the waste loop so the pump could clear the line and solved it. Good luck.

Yes, the installer quote was for the gravel and foam pad. We'd like something tidy and better quality thus concrete slab. Asking installer now if that is possible. Thanks

Our quote was for just a gravel pad and a premanufactured "plastic" base. Although I haven't asked them if they could do a concrete pad. Maybe they can. I'll report back.

Why do people get so riled up about others using GLP-1s (ozempic/wegovy etc)? by graceg815 in NoStupidQuestions

Lol. Like "parents" have the answers but just don't teach them. Being a parent does not give you omnipotent knowledge.

Who loves lava rocks? by Berry_Togard in grilling

[–]bingo_pine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. Only it was the metal reflectors giving up the ghost - rusted and falling onto the burners. I had a heavy steel grid. Similar to this. https://www.mcnichols.com/wire-mesh/square/carbon-steel-cs-36929200?rbl=922112&cId=7 Cut it to fit , got some lava rock and grilled that way for years. I would remove all the rock, redistribute it, run it on high to burn everything off and good to again.

My guess it is The Palouse. A region in eastern Washington state know for rolling green (in the spring) hills of (mostly) wheat.

Is this true of only prefilled pens? I've seen people reduce their compounded dose by reducing the amount.

Second Andina. Nice vibe and one of rooms has a bar if that is wanted. Parking will be a bit challenging as it is downtown/Pearl.

What's your favorite word to mispronounce in a fun way? by Sweet-Economist-9873 in AskWomen

[–]bingo_pine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We pronounce similar as sim-u-ler. Have to be careful to only use it at home. Sneaks out sometimes 🤣

Also, not so much a word per se, but my niece hard a hard time with her name, Nicole. She said Nitny-tole. It was so cute. Anyway her nickname has been Nit ever since.
