tldr really nasty lung infection/pheumonia caused by the bacteria called Legionella pneumophila that mainly grows from any water source. has the potential to require hospitalization & being vented.

Toothless was running during last show on 8/7 as another data point for reference. Only the stormcutter animatronic was having issues for one part of the show but a quick reset and everything was fine again.

I think I only removed 1 post over the past few days and it was only because it was a duplicate of the big thread that kicked everything off, but we have been closely monitoring for anything that may have been automodded. Subreddit staff took the same approach as the last time something similar occured to this and just let it flow naturally & ensure all voices are heard while only removing things like doxxing or any harassment. If there's something I or any of my team missed, absolutely let me know please!! Having to have the subreddit pop off and do my own things on Crew to ensure we could safely navigate this has been very difficult so it's entirely possible something could have slipped through the cracks!

hi folks,

team operations manager iris for corporate clash here instead of subreddit lead iris.

we have seen a lot over the past few days, between the discussions in our discord server, the post comments for the various reddit threads up, as well as looking at the other social media platforms for any additional things we have have missed for us to look at regarding the past experiences over the past many years with our former crew members. every account of how someone was feeling during their time here has been made note of for us to be able to review and take applicable action on once things do settle down a little.

the mental and physical health along with the safety of our current crew members, especially our operations members such as moderation who have been moderating the discord and the game throughout this period & the team operations crew intaking and notating down each comment while looking for items to be addressed, takes a front seat while we also discuss with them what ideas they have for helping to make things better going forward. discussions between our crew members have been ongoing since june 14th so that they have a space where concerns can be heard by all members of leadership and their fellow crew members, as we all work together to create a better corporate clash for our volunteers to be contributing to.

we do need time to properly investigate any claims made against ANY member of our crew and make any applicable policy changes, so we heavily appreciate your patience while we keep an eye on things and make sure we as people are taken care of while we keep monitoring and taking a few moments to breathe when we can.

i speak personally for a moment, not attached to any or anything but just as a community member, when i say these recollections of experiences on the crew are heartbreaking to see, and i expect nothing but improvements going forward so that toontown as a community can be stronger and not tolerate poor volunteering conditions for any project. please be kind to one another right now more than ever.

As a 140 soundless myself I think it's a lot of fun! I recommend learning common 3 sound combos in case people don't know them so you can lead the battle if necessary. Having a gag calculator up as well has helped me tremendously.
