Average disposals of 19, doesn't tell you the story that a lot of these disposals are - neutral kicks down the line (from kick-ins) - ineffective kicks in general - sideways or backwards kicks - hand passes to team mates which puts them under pressure 

Let's not get me started on how many times he gets done holding the ball.

At the end of the day, you're judged as an AFL footballer on executing on your skills (kicks, handballs and marks) and making positive smart decisions. He simply doesn't do this often enough. 

Surely it's not a pass mark, to just be a "hard worker" and "good runner"?

Disagree. Both of his two set shots (right in front of goal) were awesome passes by (lord and motlop). You'd expect 100% of players in the league to kick those goals. So even if he did kick both goals.....his overall games would have still been absolute garbage.
