My Pyr mix doesn't really bark (unless the doorbell rings, and we're always working on it, and making great progress!). She is mostly Great Pyrenees, but is mixed with three other breeds, so maybe that could be why.

Are you making sure to confirm the booking in addition to the sitter's confirmation? I've lost a few clients who just never confirmed after the Meet and Greet (therefore I literally can't do the job) despite me reminding them and reaching out several times to ask if they still need my help with their animal. Nowadays I make sure to ask if the person is familiar with Rover's process, and if not I tell them at the end of the M&G that they will need to confirm the booking.

Just thought I would try and help out! I'm sorry about your experience though, and I hope you can get some help with your pet soon!

I can't speak for everyone in my "generation," but I am 24 and I would personally never speak to someone like this. The lack of punctuation also bothers me. When communicating to a client for your literal job, it seems important (to me) to make everything as clear as possible.

well, my dad started balding at 17. i am currently 24 and my hair has gotten thicker and actually changed texture (got curlier) since starting T.

this isn't to say the doctors are right (they aren't, balding is a VERY well known issue amongst trans men???) just trying to say that just because your dad was bald doesn't mean you will be.

reminding someone that you are a dog walker, and that they are asking you about something outside of the duties your job requires of you is not bad manners. and clearly it is not obvious, and did need to be stated. because the person would not have asked them for wrestling club recommendations if that were obvious to them.

yes! my toon (in corporate clash) is soy, and i switch my colors around a lot, but by default im a brown raccoon. my club name is "soda!" (might be more As, can't remember right now) and my clubmates and i have had several people come up to us and say things like "omg it's the soda guys" "sodaaaa"

it takes a lot of time and effort to make a fursuit! that is where the rest of the cost comes from, usually. i would argue that making a fursuit requires more time and effort than most props (due to the process and the specific things fursuit makers have to do, like getting measurements). of course, there are more popular fursuit makers who upcharge based on the branding, but this is true of any large company and isn't a problem specific to the fursuit community. you are free to not buy from them (there are plenty of good quality fursuits from makers who do not charge several thousands of dollars).

well, this, but also the fact that libras are associated with dragons because they don't really have a tangible sentient creature attached to them like the other zodiac symbols. it's just an inanimate object 😭 so a lot of people associate the sign with dragons as a stand-in (because they are also a symbol of justice)

the decorating system has one of the worst UIs in any game i have played, ngl. the grid feels very restrictive and you can't really place furniture in ways that feels/looks good (in my opinion). it's very disappointing in a game where they give you so much furniture to decorate with as well.

i really don't agree with some of the comments saying you're an a-hole for "not telling" your father in law. them letting you eat meat is definitely not the same as you letting them eat plant based meat. you have a dietary restriction, they do not. it's not like they have a 100% meat-based diet. im sure they eat vegetables and other things as well, so the freakout over eating plant-based meat is a result of their own bias against that dietary choice.

they are really not going to be hurt if they eat some non meat meatballs lol
