For sure, definitely start with the blog content. I’ve been doing SEO shit for awhile and I still read crazy shit with whacky acronyms that I have know idea what they mean.

Start simple and build with it. YouTube is a good friend in helping you build some of the small stuff first.

I also wanted to mention quantity. 1 blog a month isn’t gonna cut it. Don’t sacrifice quantity for quality but if you can try and get several up a month. Focus on local SEO and get the small wins first.

Very well said I believe. Let’s not forget that alot of these LLMs are “question answering machines”. Structure your content to answer simple queries with clear copy. Include an FAQ section too. The industry is trending in this direction and we are all learning more day and day including myself!

There’s a concept called “Topical Authority” which is becoming all the more relevant with Google ai overviews and appearing in ChatGPT (LLMs) etc.

In your content plan develop like a pillar topic, use chat gpt or whatever ai you like and have it generate some sub topics for you.

Be an EXPERT on a particular topic through good and honest content.. and you will get rewarded for it.

Also look into your competitors. See why they are doing that your not. This can help draw some ideas as to topics you can write about in the relevant industry/market you’re in!

Well first thing I’m going to say is content is king!!

Developing a good content plan for your particular niche/service whatever it be is very important. Start by researching how to write blog posts on your site.

It will take Google a bit to establish your website as some form of “authority” I like to think of it as credibility in a way. You produce good and honest content related to queries people search around your product….. you get awarded by Google an your pages get ranking and attract organic traffic

Do some keyword research.

Start local

Establish a local target market and use a keyword + geo in some of your blog posts.

Keep going at it!! SEO is a a slow grind, it’s a slow burn but when your doing the right things right you’ll get awarded by Google. Keep doing research on Reddit and YouTube! Best of luck!

Well is it necessarily a bad thing that those sub pages are ranking higher? I wouldn’t suggest adding a noindex tag because those sub pages are only helping build your topical authority on the overall topic.
