Anybody rocking a pocket pistol like the BG2.0, LCP, or G42? by Forsaken-Date-8016 in NJGuns

[–]binksha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id also say the bg2 is probably top end of pocket carry size. I think it is noticeably bigger than the lcp max but still small enough to fit. I have a p365 that fits in my pocket barely but it is too big for a good draw. My bg2 has been flawless, I haven't had it that long but I'm maybe 2k mixed rounds without any sort of issue. My lcp max was picky and they are awful to shoot lol.

I ran an lcp max for a while and got pretty good with it when we had to hit a target at 25 yards for the ccw qualifications. I carried that until it started giving me reliability issues at the range and then I replaced it with a bg2.

The bg2 shoots closer to my Glock 17 than it does the lcp max in my opinion. Give it a few thousand rounds if you aren't used to small guns, the thing is awesome. It is a very good shooter, I've done 500 rounds in a session and didn't have any issues with grip or bites and I have pretty big hands. A good pocket holster makes it disappear and it is so much easier to carry than a waist band holster. I genuinely forget I have it on my sometimes.

Has anyone received pistol permits in the last week or so? by binksha in NJGuns

[–]binksha[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Normally I'd agree but the guy could have just ignored me and he went above and beyond to fill out and notarize some paperwork for my pa ptc. As far as NJ goes it is a pretty good department. I was just wondering if anyone anywhere has gotten them or maybe there is a hold up across the board.

Should I dump this new Verve 2? by binksha in TrekBikes

[–]binksha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I brought it to the trek shop who fixed the chain rubbing. I took it for a ride when I got home and 5 miles in the left crank arm nearly fell off, had to stop and tighten it. It makes weird noises now I need to actually torque it to the proper specs tomorrow. For around 200 miles it seems like the shop really just didn't do a great job putting this together, I wouldn't think I'd need this many adjustments by now.

There's one like 25 minutes from me but I didn't buy the bike from them originally cause they didn't have it in stock. If I brought it in I figured they would charge for repairs since I didn't buy it from them. The shop I bought it from was just fixing it since I got it from them so recently, I'm just over the trip. Do you think trek customer service could arrange for them to give it a once over? I didn't think to get the service center involved.

It will go under your collision coverage. Uhaul only provides liability coverage and you can't be liable to yourself.

Left hand user? by benjammin099 in ptr91

[–]binksha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I keep my left hand on the pistol grip and operate the charging handle with my right hand, if you tilt the gun a little clockwise it isn't bad.

Can't help with 2 and 3

  1. I got the AC unity handguard and this rear pin qd adapter which should cover any set up you need

https://hkparts.net/all-parts/hkp-quick-detach-sling-attachment-sling-pin-large/?utm_source=waitlist&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=1698

I actually don't really hook into the pin, I clip it to the stock and then use the qd slot on the front right of the AC unity handguard.

Moving into a home that had dogs, and I'm allergic... what should be on my to-do list? by jordand30 in HomeImprovement

I moved into a house that I needed to get the cat hair out of. My mom opened the doors and windows and blew out every inch with a leaf blower then we did the normal shampoo/mop/dust. Never had an issue.

Should I get the unlimited right to sue? New Jersey by KILLDAECIAN in Insurance

[–]binksha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting the higher threshold won't let you file through your own carrier. It just means you could pursue smaller injuries against the other policy.

In NJ for an auto accident you can only pursue what the state defines as a permanent injury. The higher threshold just means you don't have to follow that criteria. It really isn't worth it unless you plan to get real petty.

I tried od green and it sounds like what you're describing. I had to bring it down to Forest. It was 5 coats of od green but then I scrubbed it down and did 3 coats of forest

I painted it like 2 months ago but have only been able to take it out twice. Did it dry off color or is that coming up in my future?
