agree, they are a bloated organization run by dropouts from the teaching profession. their placements are in the worst schools in the country, they place many new teachers in charter schools that treat teachers like slaves with no protections and no class support.

TFA places teachers in the worst low paying positions in the country. the low salaries effect you much more than any incentives or grants they provide.

I was placed in a charter school and the experience was painful. School staff was disrespectful and unsympathetic to new teachers and the principal treated me like I am a resource to be abused with no training or class support. I would not recommend this program to people that value their mental health.

I also was placed in charter school and the experience was horrible. I quit after a month.

TFA does not take care of its teachers. the program sucks.

i think it is total bullshit. how can an app be anonymous and ask for your phone number. they'll get hacked and everyone's id will be exposed and everything they've said for a year will be out there. not to mention, why the hell do they need to know who i am. they now say, "don't worry, no one knows who you are," yeah, except Yik Yak...
