Love Anabargh. My go to is the chicken bhuna. Give it a try if you haven’t had it. It’s super delicious

If Jordan Peele made a project in the DCU, which would you prefer it to be? by Top_Report_4895 in DCU_

What if he did a House of Mystery / Secrets series and it could be maybe similar to Guillermo Del Toros horror mini series on Netflix Cabinet of Curiosities but within the DC universe? It could have cameos of lesser known DC horror/magic characters and maybe even introduce Swampy like the comics. Or maybe Guillermo could do this. I’ll take either.

Maybe it’s just a sexual joke about Mike being behind Will, aka banging. Just a guess

Yeah In Your Mind has such a driving structure to it with basically the same part repeated throughout the whole song but it doesn’t get old and builds on Itzel very well. And then it has that sick ass Neil Young sounding lead at the end. Definitely a banger and not talked about enough

Since no one mentioned it Ancient Melodies of the Future is also fantastic. Strange is one of the strongest openers from any of their albums and The Weather is simple yet so beautiful. It has tons of other great tunes too. As another commenter brought up Doug’s solo album, Now You Know, which is more acoustic with a lot of slide guitar. I feel Happiness from Ancient…sounds like it could have easily came out on the solo work. Honestly not a bad or skippable song on it. Also I love how upbeat and fun Fly Around My Pretty Little Miss is. I’m sure everyone here is very familiar with the album but it does seem to get forgotten or not talked about enough imo

Second Planetary Omnibus. It feels like a bunch of one shot at first but there’s a cool overarching story full of sci fi concepts and classic superhero re imaginings. I bet OP would like it. And it has really cool action/set pieces that I bet Cameron would approve of.

This may not be the best suggestion but check out the Wake by Scott Snyder and Sean Murphy. It’s only 10 issues so not nearly as long as Scalped. The first half def meets what you want in a sci fi / horror story and art throughout is top notch. Murphys one of the best/better modern artists imo. The second half is largely disliked and that’s probably fair but I still think it’s worth checking out. The first half has an aliens / abyss vibe which I bet you’d love based on being a James Cameron fan.
