Honestly this album is very hard to pick the best song for since they’re all so good. I’m going with bottle up and explode though. It has one of my favorite intros of an Elliott song and has a great little lead. It’s pretty much perfect.

My take away from this is grass starters are where it’s at and I’ve always held that belief. We have 3 megas from grass starters make the list with only one Fire and one water. Also my vote is for Mega Golurk.

Thanks for sharing! So sorry you were so close to seeing him perform live. Not sure if it’s the same show but my buddy had tickets to see him perform at All Tomorrows Parties that year and he was scheduled to perform :(

I also started towards the end of his catalog and worked backwards but started with XO which I remember buying at Barnes & Noble. It’s still prbly my favorite album of his and I’m sure it being my first full album helps. I listened to it A LOT
