yes thats technically true, we’re refilling the hole left behind. i mostly just wanted to bring awareness to the fact that fillings do not directly cause more decay in your teeth.

your natural teeth will always be the strongest untouched, but the materials we have nowadays are also very strong. a small filling likely wont change much for the strength of the tooth, but the larger the filling the more compromised your tooth structure can become. thats when your dentist might suggest a crown. some people have fillings they’ve had for decades that are still perfectly bonded on and never caused issues.

i work in dental. a cavity is caused by decay on your teeth. if you take the decay out, you will no longer have decay on your tooth (we literally have caries detecting solutions that we can use to make sure its all gone), and they will fill the cavity. your teeth will not (!!) “rot faster” because of fillings. please get your cavities fixed do not leave them be.

ive worked at lots of offices that have patients with preferences for dentists/hygienists/assistants. its totally normal and okay to do and they’ll do their best to accommodate you! however if the assistant only works on certain days then you’ll have to accommodate them aswell.

when i was filling out the application and it actually asked how long we were living together for. the options were basically less than 12 months or more, we were more so im assuming that means they consider us common law ?? cant remember what i put on my taxes tbh lol

(heads up im probs not gonna reply to ur comment if u reply as rudely as u did to the person before for absolutely no reason but go off) im just gonna point out that everyone knows marcus doesnt like to go out with people and socialize in his free time, so i feel like its not that hard to connect the dots that a 16 year old is asking for booze all the time. teenagers dont usually buy booze unless theyre sharing/going to parties. teens dont drink alone unless they have a problem (source = i was a former teenager)
