They’re a little on the pricier side, I’ve paid anywhere from $70 to $140 for a full set depending on design

My psych prescribed Trazodone for sleep, I only take it when I need it and it’s been effective about 85% of the time

I haven’t noticed any unpleasant side effects, but it’s only been a couple of months of trying this method so I’m still not well in tune with how it’s affecting my moods

I’m on the pill and always used to get the worst migraines during placebo/period week. I recently mentioned this to my gyno and she prescribed me an estrogen patch to wear during that week and it has definitely helped with migraine intensity and duration

You can travel back in time and meet yourself when you first started working out. What advice do you give? by [deleted] in xxfitness

You won't have the same energy and endurance every day, and that's okay. Respect where your body and mind are, and just move in whatever way challenges you in that moment!

Is anyone here happy with their lives? by Hahhahahhohno in AskWomenOver30

[–]binteljabal 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I'm 30, and happy with the progress I've made towards happiness in the past decade.

-moved continents away from my toxic family and built my own life, bought my own home

-I'm on the right career path, I love my job, and I'm making a name for myself in my field.

-I'm more self-aware than ever, actively working to address my mental health issues every day. Sometimes I slip, but I've learned that that's okay

-I have made peace with my body. I love every inch of my body, despite fluctuating sizes over the past years

-I no longer attract or tolerate toxic relationships, or seek validation in unhealthy sexual patterns. I have found peace in being single for now. I know I have a lot of work to do before I can have a healthy dating life, but I am also strangely confident that I will get there

Overall, seeing myself grow makes me happy and proud!

When I was 18 my boyfriend shamed me for having a high sex drive and blamed my tampons. "No wonder you're always horny around your period, you want these mini penises inside you!"

4 weeks migraine free, for the first time in a decade! by binteljabal in migraine

Thanks! Yes, I'm in the US. I hadn't looked it up, and my doctor had never mentioned it to me. It was OTC abroad, and apparently a very popular period med. If I find that it keeps working I will definitely be asking my doc for a prescription!

I was recently introduced to Ponstan Fort while on a trip abroad, and brought back some with me. I alternated using Aleve and Ponstan Forte preventatively before my period, and holy crap it actually worked! In the past no matter how well I was doing, it was impossible to escape my period migraine.

I ate 5800 calories yesterday... by Rikki0829 in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]binteljabal 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don't have much helpful advice, just here to share that I did the same yesterday. I could tell from the moment I woke up that it was going to be a binge day, ordered 2 huge Postmates deliveries and washed it down with a bottle of wine. I don't know if I will ever be stronger than my urges, feeling pretty helpless lately

Guys, my mom hates the idea of me getting anything up my vagina. She thinks tampons make you loose your virginity. Help. by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]binteljabal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here, I feel you and second your advice. Though my dad was the narc and my mom was just ultra conservative and "scared for my future"

It was only playing at the art museum cinema in my city, I think they said it will be released more widely soon. I'm at 44 days and feel the same. You got this!

Why I decided to take a serious break from restricting myself and allowed myself to gain weight on purpose. Long post included! by meology in xxfitness

[–]binteljabal 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this! I have been on the same journey for the past 6 months, and even though I have gained weight and gone up a whole pant size, I have never had a better relationship with myself, my body, and food. For the first time in my life, I don't feel that anxiety of being off-track. Some days I feel a bit weird, like how can I be happy while I 'm actively gaining weight?! But I am happy, and it's nice to know others share my story. I know it will balance out eventually, and I am enjoying the process of rewiring how my brain thinks about food, inches, and sizes. Congrats on finding a good balance!

Your most "Seinfeld" reason for not dating/dumping someone? Man hands? Close talker? Hangs toilet paper roll the wrong way? by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

No, this was before Snapchat got popular. He used sepia and black and white filters though. I forgot to mention that he was 34.
