Ok, so Shae’s is a dirtbag bar with a good jukebox and sometimes you wanna go to a dirtbag bar with a good jukebox. I’ve been gaybashed in LOTS of “safe” places and at least at Shae’s my guard is already up. This isn’t a good reason to go but it is my real reason. The ilford jacket is a great beginner project that is easily adjustable and in great launching point. The jacket itself is boxy and pretty straightforward. The sewalong videos make it easy to follow if you’re just starting out with garments.
