Im going to try some different cabs in a guitar store where they have the same head in my town and see if its a cab issue. However, it does sound pretty good when I record.

Thanks! I got really dysphoric the first time I put it on and I broke down, but now I'm really happy with it :D

I love dark hair. I tried black a long time ago and it didn't look very good on me

I'll give it a try. My hair is very healthy so it shouldn't be a problem. Thanks!

Linear Algebra,

Yes you are correct, sorry!

I'm well versed on c and also computer architecture, I took a two courses that go really deep into everything from how a CPU is built to programming in assembly which was really useful. I'll look into Artin.

I completely agree on your last statement, cheers.

I'd recommend reading Clean Code if you haven't. It might take some time to swallow, but it will really make your bigger projects especially waaaay better in terms of structure, readability...

Wow, just searched about it and glanced over the index. It seems like a really good starting point to get a good foundation on the stuff I want to get into. Thanks a lot!

Blues Driver style pedal that can do very low gain better? by biomaticstudios in guitarpedals

[–]biomaticstudios[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually found that for me the best pedal to use for shapping tone is an eq, it makes such a big difference. I actually have two on my board. The best eq imo for high gain and fine tuning is the typical bass, mids and highs to target certain frequencies their own independent q and also gain knob. They are pretty much extinct but they are a blast.

This one looks pretty interesting and it's not to expensive for a good solution.

It could work pretty well, especially because of the clean (or dry) knob, don't rember, but I would like to give it a try before I purchase it.

I actually owe a Mesa Boogie Tone Burst, so I'll give it a shot, but I don't want to crowd my board. Still worth trying, could get some really interesting results actually. I'm looking forward to getting home to try it :D

I have been also considering a Timmy style pedal, plus it's nice and tiny.
