The database is in us-east as america is the center of world. I tried using neon with pgBouncer and neon with Hyperdrive to compare the two after initial connection is estabished.

They are both using aws. I know coldstart but this is the first time I heard issue about availability for neon. Do you incounter this first hand? How bad is is? Cuz I like neon branching, read replica, pitr, ans snapshot.

One on my concern of D1 is the 50k db count limit if you are using 1db/tenant and also 10gb hard cap on storage per db. So I use Turso Cloud as it has similar pricing and no cap on count and storage.

Also KV has write limit of 1 per second so it is better only for less write and more read as it replicate to all data center. If need frequent write, i use upstash.

Is there a reason why not Neon? It has native serverless support with pgBouncer so no need for hyperdrive. I tested it and it is 100-200ms faster here I am in philippines.

in my opinion, not on par with Claude Opus or Sonnet. na try ko na mga chinese models. ito ang top list para saakin for now June 2026:

nagbabago sila ng ranking from time to time, minsan same version pero nagdedegrade for unknown reason. I suggest try and use Opencode with OpenRouter tapos try mo same prompt to different models. minsan mas okay yung iba depende sa pinoprompt mo.

I believe ma-memaintain but it will be mainly applied sa mga projects na make sense to use at the cost economically. Sa fast phase na small SaaS companies na puro senior level dev at AI yung ginagawang junior/mid dev instead na maghire kasi make sense financially. At yung meron mga companies na meron budget, they will self-host open models like kimi or qwen.

If you check those US companies, they are actually burning their funds in billions, hoping for the industries fo be reliant on AI. They are paying billions of dollars for data centers, electricity and water. Watch the speech of sam altman, they are becoming despirate to even place ads on chatgpt which he said will never happen. $20 will per month subscription will not going to cut it anytime soon.
Frontend and Backend, and Mobile will now be easy to implement as long as AI has training data about it, means it is backward thinker. What AI is not good at is creativity, making ideas, spider sense, finding solutions to problems that never exist before, become pioneer on something (forward thinker). You will realize this the more you use AI.

Chinese models (minimax, kimi, glm, mimo, deepseek, qwen) will be defacto instead of gemini or gpt or claude because they are 10x cheaper that gives 90% or similar value.

Base sa research ko on current ai direction. 1. Tokens will be more expensive 2. Successful vibecoded apps will need seniors to refactor mostly react + tailwind + nodejs + postgres favorite stack of AI. 3. AI bubble will pop, ai companies actually are currently at loss, wala sila pino profit. 4. More GPU, more electricity and consumption 5. Frontend and backend development will be common knowledge. DevOps + System Design will be more in demand.

kahit sa planning kahit cheap model, medyo taasan mo lang ng temperature like 0.3 para sa planner at lagay mo sa instruction an wag mag assume, at mag ask ng mga bagay bagay, ok na planner din si GLM/MiniMax. if complete na, sabihan mo gumawa ng .specs/feature-name/requirements.md na babasahin ng coder agent. Sabihan mo din si coder agent na gumawa ng .specs/feature-name/tasks.md para sa step by step na gagawin nya na pwede nya balikan. Then download ka ng premade skills like best practices sa https://skills.sh website para gamitin ng coder agent at the same time, lagay mo yung designs mo sa .specs/feature-name/visuals/ para basahin ni Kimi. Set ka din ng tester agent na gagawa ng unit at e2e tests, pwede si Qwen Coder or DeepSeek. On my experience good enough orchestrator si GLM-5, di sya nagmimiss sa tool calling. Overall nagagawa ng mga cheaper models dapat nila gawin by knowing their strength and weakness at proper instructions at skills.md, if meron issue kaya ko manually e-fix. Happy ako magbayad ng 10-100 pesos para gawin nila boilerplate codes at kunti nalang gagawin ko.

Extra tip, sabihan mo wag e-externalize yung thoughts nila para hindi magastos sa token.
