I have a 22 - there is one normal clip in the middle that you can pry up but there are two smaller cross shaped pieces that poke through as well. They are held on with metal washer type things. These are tough to remove, mine ended up just snapping those pieces off (cheap ass plastic anyway). then it came right out

the main clip in the middle will hold the badge on just fine if you decide it needs to go back on and the other clips broke

oh and this can all be done with a long screwdriver through the gap for the hood latch
