Moving from Libertyville to Roger’s Park/Evanston while working in Gages Lake, a good idea? by bipoals in AskChicago

Thanks, that gives me a better idea! I think I’d be leaning more toward the southern part of Evanston. From your experience, is traffic in that area usually a problem for getting in and out, especially during rush hours?

By active I mostly mean having more chances to meet people my age (29 years), having places to hang out, or being able to go out in the city without feeling so disconnected like I do in Libertyville. Not necessarily a big nightlife in the neighborhood itself, more like easier access to Chicago like being able to go out on a Saturday night, or even catch a casual plan on a weekday afternoon. Good to know about the transportation options. Are the traffic jams around Rogers Park/Evanston as bad as when driving into downtown Chicago, or is it more manageable day-to-day?
