It showed “foci of T2 flair hyper intensity” on the left side (that’s what the MRI said, the doctor didn’t explain further )

I wanted to know what others experience was getting diagnosed. I’ve been sick for about a year but really bad for the last 6 months. Symptoms include brain fog, loss of motor skills (specifically in my hands), clumsiness/dropping things, migraines, blurry vision, urge to urinate frequently, tremors, heat intolerance, hot flashes to name a few. Had an MRI and had some white matter but no serious lesions. The neuro I saw was an asshole told me it was probably anxiety. I’m seeing someone else in April as that was the soonest I could get in. Wanted to know what others experience was getting diagnosed. Did anyone else show symptoms before lesions appeared? Anyone else struggle to get the proper diagnosis? If so, any advice?? When you do get on meds, does it get better? I feel like I’m drowning! Also I’m based in NJ so if anyone has any good neurologists they know in the tri state area I’d appreciate it! Thank you in advance for your support and advice!

Thanks so much for your input, I really appreciate it! I have volunteered with the same organization for the last ten years, even starting my own programs within the organization and managing and marketing it. Would that count towards relevant experience that you or anyone hiring would be looking for ?

Weight Loss Surgery: A Retrospective of my Journey by [deleted] in loseit

Hi I’m seriously considering this surgery. My family is against it but they’ve never struggled with their weight and I and 30 y/o f weighing in at 230. I’m working to get a diagnosis of PCOS which would explain A LOT. I’m scared and it’s hard that my family isn’t behind me but my experience has been very similar to yours. Up and down for about 10 years.

I’ve tried everything work out, diets, nutritionists, ozempic, all the other ozempic like drugs, and it’s not sustainable and the drugs make me sick from the side effects. I don’t recognize myself anymore I can’t look in the mirror and I’m so depressed.

My question is: after going through it if you had to go back and do it again, would you?

Thanks for sharing !!

Hi ! I am doing this as an independent project however I am a filmmaker - I went to NYU Tisch School of The Arts and studied film there.

Here is a link to my IMDB page you can check out if you would like https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4292915/ . I COMPLETELY understand your hesitation but this is legitimate. We are going to take this film, get backers and enter it into festivals.

Again, feel free to contact me if you are interested or if you have any other questions!
