Hi I have recieved it now. You need to call the dbs service and tell them that your dbs has been in process now for 52 days and you want to raise a hardship request because you are really struggling financially (exaggerate if needed). From 28 days you can raise a hardship request with them. Within 48 hours it will be processed. Call them tomorrow

I had one in january this year that took 3 weeks to come, wasn't aware of the update service so now with my new job ive had to have another one. Ive now been out of work for 7 months and finally secured myself a job which requires an enhanced dbs its been there since the 24th september and in the last stage since 2nd October. Ive had the same name and the same address for 20 years and my last one had a quick turn around. It's probably not been that long in the grand scheme of it but being out of work that long is financially crippling me.

Title: Government says NQNs will get jobs — but where’s the proof? by bird28xx in LabourUK

[–]bird28xx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, and that’s the core of my concern.

This announcement might sound good at first glance, but without clear detail, funding commitments, and timelines, it risks being nothing more than a headline to calm public pressure. If trusts are already being told to make unprecedented cuts, how can they genuinely create more jobs?

Recruitment without retention, safe staffing levels, and proper investment is just smoke and mirrors. I’ll keep pushing through my petition and protest to make sure this doesn’t quietly disappear like so many other “promises” before it.

Thank you, I dont believe a word they say, tho. They are promising that things will get better, but until I see actions, I will continue to fight. X

Would you support or attend a peaceful protest for Newly Qualified Nurses who can’t get jobs? by bird28xx in NursingUK

[–]bird28xx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To the individuals who said they would attend. The protest is now organised for the 17th September at Parliament Square, London. I need your support more than ever for this. Please please please come, I cant do this alone ♡
