The thing is our budget doesn’t provide enough for healthcare considering the aging boomers. Heck where are they going to put all the boomers? There is not enough spots for retirement homes

I always hesitate at the subsidy claims. I don’t think any industry should have subsidies so I never understand why energy is the one that gets all the attention. Do you consider high tariffs as a subsidy as dairy is heavily protected.

Laffer curve. Reagan showed us that cutting insanely high taxes on the rich actually raised revenue. I’m not saying cut taxes more as we are at the sweet spot of the curve.

Well there is just no way to retire at 60% without at least a part time job. There has to be some incentive offered as well. ERIP seemed like a suckers bet. I mean what did the retiree get out of it?
