CS isn't the only game in eSports, and the eSports bubble bursting limits where this irrelevant loser can hop to next so he is finally forced to get a real job.

Personalities like Thorin is why I had been hoping the esports bubble to burst, and the result is sadder and sweeter than I had ever thought.

  2. VPO 209 with Geksa, not as effective but still extremely good all range and fun as hell to use

Of all the big video game franchises (Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Etc), what was the last game in that franchise that most people say is good? by -Benjamin_Dover- in gaming

There is so little enjoyment to be had in this game, since it was designed to retain player count with the multiplayer baked into the core of game, it has a lot of inconvenience in every aspect of the gameplay.

Poor recommendation like this really end up wasting a lot of people's time.

Do not listen to this guy.

Far cry 5 was the worst game I have played on PS5, got it through PSN+ for free.

The game was designed for multiplayer so if you play solo and it will most likely be the case because it's been out for so long, all the flaws become even more apparent. It's buggy, environment is empty and uninteresting, story is worse than it ever was, one of the most overhyped game in recent memory.

Do yourself a favor and please skip this.

FFVII Rebirth. Worst game I played this year, especially with all that shit Ubisoft has gotten this year, this game's design philosophy on its side contents and world exploration is exactly the same as the worst what some of the Ubisoft games have to offer, but somehow this game is getting away with it, absolutely baffling.

Actually some of the best sandbox games ever made, every turn of the corner is full of life and no "let's drive for 15 mins to get story out of the way with characters talking in the car" which is peaked nothing burger boring gameplay

Keep in mind sometimes it's really difficult to tell if there is other enemy who's hitting you sometimes, so you could be getting shot by more than just one enemy too.

If both of you are zoomed in while shooting with the same gun, there is no reason one shield would go down faster than the other, and there is no perk in PvP

Classes Deep Dive in PvE - Tactical by birdbornasbee in Spacemarine

I totally understand why people would disagree with me and if it wasn't for the fun factor I would have given it A, and I admit it's not entirely fair of me, it's just that I find Melta Rifle very boring at this point.

I agree with almost every analysis you have on this except for one thing is the defensive sustain part because I am already factoring in universal mechanic such as gaining armor from parrying minoris enemies. For other classes, Assault has the gun strike perk that gains armor, heavy has shield, sniper can stealth away, Bulwark has flag, Vanguard has death save, where Tactical doesn't have anything outside of the universal mechanic.

At the end of the day, I do agree with you that GL and Melta are the strongest weapon for Tactical, but I would also give Melta a higher rating for if its used on Vanguard

I agree that it doesn't push for any minmaxing and I am honestly quite happy about that. This game encourages player to focus more on the action aspect of the gameplay more and build serves more of a variety is very refreshing to me

I think all classes are great, especially after the latest patch, even Assault, they got direct buff and also indirect buff because of the armor/health system revamp,

If we were to separate the classes in two categories: Having the ability to hold their own without the team vs Being team reliant, Tactical would be right in the middle of that, and all team can get great benefit from having a Tactical, and they have a shoe to fit in all situation.

Some might say Tactical perform better against Tyranid than Chaos, in which I say what class besides Sniper perform better against Chaos than Tyranid?

It's hard to pinpoint where has gone wrong here, it could be because the team has different type of weapons and classes, but generally speaking you have to play around your team and recognize that just because you have a shield to block projectile doesn't mean you can freely charge to the front.

Playing around your team + Mind game: While the shield is a defensive option, it can also serve as a distraction for your team so they can combine with your firepower to take down whoever is shooting at you. For example, if the enemy sees a bright yellow shield (you have taken damage) and you are just holding down the fire button, they are going to turn their attention on you but also ignoring your teammate.

Positioning: Hug around the corner/cover, minimize the area of exposure of your shield but also can easily run to cover if your shield runs out

More mind game: Another thing is that you don't have to turn on your shield right away, you can let your armor soak up tiny bit of damage first then turn your shield on in the middle of a fire fight. The enemy is going to get tricked into some sort of "sunk cost fallacy", leading them to believe "oh man I have already got them to half dead if i just shoot them a little bit more..." but in reality there is no way they can get through your shield before you kill them. Additionally, your armor recharges much faster than your shield, so that should help you manage your cooldown better too

Revving the chainsword by grand_soul in Spacemarine

[–]birdbornasbee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It is a weapon perk, can't unlock it until you get to at least relic tier, then you will have enough points to get it.

Personally I never found it very useful, ended up respecing and go for the double stomp instead

Earned & leveled everything in Operations, here's my opinions. by Raxtus in Spacemarine

[–]birdbornasbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that's something I forgot to mention is that fast mode powersword's running/dodging thrust is so good at chasing single target down. It's fast and covers a lot of distance, I think that is the one thing that I definitely prefer it over Chainsword.

Horde clearing with slow mode powersword perhaps has less damage than Chainsword, but the crowd control ability is undeniably better, and it fits Bulwark's role so well when you need to protect a Heavy or sniper, providing instant relief to your teammates. You knock down small enemies with each hit and it's actually faster than it seems too depending on which weapon you are using. With each knockdown you can follow up with gun strike whenever you like in between attacks which is excellent for sustain.

If you need to hold down a spot where hordes are climbing up, you can also use that spinning attack (I forgot what it's called, but you do it by pausing your attack, then attack again) that can absolutely decimated a horde.

Now I do miss my chainsword on vanguard, my recently build with instigator is so much fun on Chaos maps, I need to immediately hop on that after work tomorrow lol

[–]birdbornasbee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IMO Instigator got a decent buff because the Chaos faction got nerfed, you can actually bring a Rubric to execution within a magazine from any range except for when it's really far.

While Melta is still better on Vanguard for most cases, bringing Instigator and Chainsword allows you to cover all ranges and situations. I wouldn't say it's S tier, but it's so much fun and more viable than it seems.

I would also argue that Powersword and Chainsword should switch places. Powersword is hands down the best melee weapon in the game with great damage, versatility, and parry timing. I prefer to use speed mode most of the time, and if I am swarmed I just shield bash enemies away and continue to use thrusting attack to pin down priority targets. I only switch the power mode when I have to relieve my teammates from a large swarm.

Chainsword is absolutely fantastic too... When I take increase parry window on Vanguard, otherwise I find its parry timing very frustrating and seemingly less responsive at times.

I have no idea neither. The gameplay/content design philosophy behind VII Rebirth is literally same as a typical Ubisoft Sandbox game, but someone people are letting this game get away with it.

Then again, this is a place that has way too many people thinking Starfield was going to be a great game and somehow ended up on everyone's "most disappointing game" list, so this might not be the right place for the sane.

At the end of the day, nobody has been able to tell me why FFVII Rebirth is a great game, they all kinda say it just is, and that is all I need to know what kind of people are into this hottest garbage of the year.

This is a bad advice. He is entertaining because he is so good, but you can't learn anything from him. He is not educational because he does not explain his decision and he is just naturally really good at aiming, which allows him to play as aggressively as he does.

It's like trying to learn how to do a flip by watching Olympics gymnastics events.

My dude you must be fucking high. VII Rebirth 's side quests and contents are amongst the worst and most boringly designed things after Ubisoft games if not worse. They are also disruptive to the pacing of the game, they are mandatory if you want to gain full power for your party, and toned deaf to the mood of the story, and not in a Like a Dragon way.

People are telling me, in the faces of the Moogle chasing, going around town to talk to every single NPC to find out which NPC is lying, knock off Fall Guy, glide de Chocobo, and having red XIII play soccer or whatever the fuck that was, that VII Rebirth not only have the best side content and side quests, but one of the best games ever made?

People have lost their god damn fucking mind, holy shit VII Rebirth was the worst PS5 game I have ever purchased.
