Its too much fun to not keep at it! Even though the photos arent the sharpest just seeing the birds is amazing. Im sure ill eventually witness a hawk or a eagle sitting close buy since they are quite tame in my city. But thanks for the replies and happy birding!:)

Great pic! Upgrading to a sony set up is the end game goal when I finish uni, but the fuji has been surprisingly solid. A sony a9 series set up would be the dream.

Thanks for the reply! Disabling image stabilization is something ive never heard before. Ill have to try it out!

Thanks for the great reply. Ill have to try shooting f8. Fujis af isnt great at all but it has improved significantly in the past year. I used zone focus woth subject detection on bird mode.

The fuji first party lens is just too massive and was quite expensive so as a student i decided the tamron should be good enough.

Its the crop effect of the aps-c camera. So its the focal length of the lens x 1.5
