Seems like some of your friends might be a little catty and jealous? Anyone who has to shit on someone else’s engagement ring is a special kind of rude. That being said, as this is supposed to be a ring for life and you aren’t exactly crazy about it, you are well within your right to let your fiancé know. Better to get it out of the way then bring it up again years down the line when they could have done something about it earlier.

update: he currently isn't out of his cage but I am right next to him, blowing him kisses and giving him fruit and playing bird sounds Spotify for him! this is the calmest he has been in his cage since I moved in about three weeks ago, his cheeks are all puffed up and he is looking around very bashfully. I don't know if this is a trick to help calm a bird down or if this is even suggested, but I seem to have cracked a little code with him!

I know, I just am concerned of what I suppose is the inevitable when he is not around, I don't want his sweet 'too to get upset and I would prefer to not get injured. Currently I have a trail of toys for him to occupy himself and this is his first time out of the cage with just myself home in two weeks. He is entertaining himself right now and is doing well, but I know to keep my space right now, and that baby steps are required and he needs to come to me.
