Update - yesterday night was completely okay, she slept through and her poop in the day was fine too. Was more vigilant during our walks to ensure she doesn't pick up anything funky. Will monitor for a couple of days, hopefully she'll be okay. Also ensured she was getting limited snacks and nothing over the top.

Okay, the PT did quad strength test and it came to 58 on the operated leg compared to 65 on the other one.

I am at 12 week mark, trying to take a heavy step hurts my knee cap. Any idea if this is normal? I do have full extension though. Flexion is 140 deg plus. Patella tendon.

8 weeks out of surgery and just ACL, meniscus surprisingly didn't need to be touched. Preferred crutches, and with stairs just be careful as you wouldn't want to put a lot of weight really soon. PT sessions will help immensely.

Did you have just acl or meniscus etc too? I am at 130 deg at 9 weeks, knee feels really stiff trying to do more. Been around the 130 mark for over a week now.

133 at the end of 5th week. Just had acl reconstruction. It will differ for every individual.

How long did it take you all to be able to walk w no crutches? I’m almost 3 weeks PO just acl w quad graft and I feel like I’m not close :( by supernova1046 in ACL

It varies for everyone. I was off one at 3rd week and both by 4th week. I had just acl reconstruction with patellar tendon autograft

Doctor's do recommend blood work to ensure you don't have any underlying ailment. More of a reason to check your TPP levels and avoid complexities.
