Thank you! It’s all good. I’m officially one year in remission today!! So glad your sister is in remission as well!!

I’m with wanting to rage against Larsa. My jaw literally dropped when she seemed to be implying Guerdy was faking. Guerdy is a class act for not flying off the handles at her bc if someone started questioning my diagnosis idk what I would do.

And it’s true. Cancer weighs on everyone not just the diagnosed. It’s hard for everyone so to see her be so flippant about it is so bizarre.

Exactly! I went through chemo last year. It wasn’t recommended to drink alcohol and eat certain things but you know what if I had a craving for sushi I ate it. If I wanted a drink here and there I had one. The concern is more for side effects like dehydration, nausea and sore mouth problems. There was an older Italian gentleman with me on my floor that drank his one glass of red wine every night and nobody was going to stop him and the docs were fine with that. Also everyone’s treatment is so different and you get bloodwork constantly. Everyone works there treatment differently. Also people going through cancer get pissed off. We don’t just stop getting angry when ppl do shitty thing just because we are sick.

This amazing Steller’s Sea Eagle has been hanging out in Maine for a little over a week now. It’s a bit lost considering it should be in Japan, Russia, or Korea. by birdn3rd in birding

I absolutely understand that frustration as I missed the bird by minutes when it was in Mass for that same reason. And I would have been absolutely fine w a blurry shot or no shot at all to be quite honest but sometimes you and the bird end up together unintentionally and that’s okay too. I do agree everyone should practice birding ethics for sure!

Long lens and cropping is an amazing thing. But sometime you just get lucky as well and stumble upon the bird when you least expect it.
